Yesssss! I'm going to try to be cool here but I just want to say I love you guys and I love this place and thank you for coming to this side of Conroe! So many wonderful things to say about this place!
Okay so now the review. Food: Ahi Tower, General Tso's chicken, Hokkaido Roll, Tiger Roll, Sweetheart Roll, Sexy Lady Roll. Nothing in this list disappointed us! The Ahi Tower was outstanding. It's a must have if you like raw fish. It's creamy, not spicy, cool and had a little crunch and texture from the masago. The General Tso's was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy with crispy, excellent quality chicken .The Hokkaido Roll was warm, smokey and creamy, a touch of spice with the jalapeño and a touch of sweet with the scallop. The Tiger Roll was cool and had a great feel in the mouth with the different textures of salmon, tuna and eel. The Sweetheart Roll was cool, tasty and meaty with tuna. The Sexy Lady Roll was an explosion of all the tastes and textures that you want in your sushi roll. Seriously you can't go wrong, all the food was highest quality and freshness. The rolls had just the right amount of sauces to add that extra kick without drowning out the taste of the roll itself.
The service: top notch! Every one greeted us and were friendly and attentive in a calm, soothing manner, without being intrusive or over bearing. They all seemed genuinely concerned with our satisfaction of the food and the experience as a whole. Their happiness and friendliness felt true and easy like it is in their nature.
Atmosphere: cute, bright, open space, comfortable seating, spotlessly clean.

My roommate and I showed up just as the dinner rush seemed to be ending. While they were still a bit busy, we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. We just had to wait a few minutes for them to clean off a booth and finish ringing a to-go order.
You could tell that they were a bit short handed, so I didn't mind waiting extra time for my food to arrive. The problems start when other tables that arrived after us started getting their orders before us. But we're in no rush so we don't sweat it. Our order was a simple one. Two bowls of ramen with edamame and gyoza as appetizers.
After what turned into quite the wait, our ramen came out. We waited about 10 minutes hoping to get our appetizers before eating our ramen but it still hadn't arrived so we started eating. About half way through our bowls, the edamame arrives. The food so far has been absolutely delicious, so no complaints there. I finish off my ramen and my roommate finishes his and most of his edamame. My gyoza finally arrives and it is clear that someone remembered it at the last moment and rushed it, as it had next to no sear/char on the bottom side. It did still taste delicious, however.
Based on taste alone, I want to give 5 stars. But due to the very late appetizers, I have to take off one. I plan on coming back very soon because there were several menu items I'd like to try. If history doesn't repeat itself I'll change my rating to 5 stars and just assume my first experience...
Read moreThis is not a review of the food because I haven't ever eaten it. I ordered chicken lo mein and crab puffs pick up for my daughter. We got home and I was putting away groceries my daughter states her order is wrong. I really didn't want to drive all the way back. She was given shrimp fried rice. She decided she would pick the shrimp out and eat it. (Neither of us eat shrimp.) She threw the shrimp out and tried the rice but it tasted like shrimp and she wouldn't eat it. I called the restaurant and told them and drove back with the rice, the bag and receipt. A woman came from the back, picked through the rice asking where the 7 shrimp were. I had already explained on the phone that they had been thrown out. Now I'm standing in a restaurant being questioned about shrimp I didn't order, don't eat. She finally says she'll get order. good thing I checked it because this time it's chicken fried rice. I tell her again it's not right and show the receipt for chicken lo mein and she looks like I'm just out to ruin her day. No, I just really wanted what I ordered without the hassle. Third time out the meal was correct. On a side note I realize that food is expensive and shrimp probably more so than chicken but I wondered after my having brought that meal home why they would even...
