!!BEWERE!! I don’t even wanna give the one star that the minimum requires to leave a review. I’ve been to Don’s twice and the first time I was treated decent. It wasn’t a very good experience but because the place looks very nice. I went back again with my daughter for her birthday And right from the start. We was being treated very disrespectful. I explained to the lady that was doing my daughter‘s pedicure that she just dislocated her leg. Please be a little soft with her when you do her massage and she would not stop. She kept pulling on her leg like if she needed this big massage. Then the gentleman that was doing my nails instead of clipping to the end, he would clip halfway twist and then pull my toenails off. I explain to him how he was hurting me, and he just kept doing it when it came to the manicure me and my daughter was separated, so I did not see how her manicure was going, but the gentleman kept applying coat after cold and putting my hand in the light and pulling it out very quickly, not leaving it in long enough for it to completely dry I explained to him how it’s too fast and he kept telling me it’s OK don’t worry When we got to the dryers, my daughter‘s nails was very ripple. There was a few cracks and multiple strokes on her nails, causing a separation between the two coats. It was the day of her birthday and I felt very hurt for her. I went back to explain to them that I was not happy with the way came out and they told me there’s nothing we can do that’s regular polish. That’s the way her nail is on my daughter‘s birthday. They’re trying to say she has in perfect nail, which was before prepped, smooth, buffed, and filed prior any polished coat my daughter is only 15. She never done acrylic before she was just doing a regular manicure. As the day followed, we just went on and made the best out of it. I took her to have lunch. Then went back home to get ready to start going to the restaurant for her birthday When I looked at my thumb, it was peeling up from the side corner And then I started to take pictures of the incident I immediately called Don’s and told him the situation. The lady on the phone tried to confuse me saying that you got polished regular polish and that’s what happens. We can’t guarantee regular polish so then I told her do they put the light under your hands when you have regular polish because I know for a fact, I paid for gel And she insisted that she looks at the receipt so I felt very disrespected she made me feel I was lying The bill came up to $130 once I went back, they tried to fix the two thumbs that was messed up The gentleman that did my nails yesterday came out from the back room, smiling, and then looked at my nails and started to prep them. He went in the back to get. I’m assuming the manager and she came out wailing my nails are uneven, and I have an imperfection and her nails are smooth and straight and mines are not I continue telling her that it does not allow the polish to pull up off the nail. She goes barely understanding her and starts to tell me that we will try to fix it for you. But we’re not doing all your nails because I was trying to explain to her that if the thumbs was messed up, I think the whole manicure Was not done properly and she said all the other nails are in good condition we’re only gonna fix two nails Unsatisfied I accepted at least I get the nails that was messed up fixed. The gentleman continued fixing my nail, and then when it came to the point right before he put polish, he went in the back and retrieved the manager again. The manager continued to file my nail very roughly And harshly. I felt very uncomfortable and very disrespected She continues to add the polish and put the hand back into the Light and explaining to me how if you don’t put your dumb flat, it’s not gonna dry properly After 15 seconds, she wanted my hand out of the light. I explained to her this is what happened last time you wanna try to add too many coats too fast. Very spitefully she asked me do you have a nail license? I will not return very...
Read moreI have been coming here for a couple years and overall got good treatment. Well today, my daughter set up a whole bridal party and specified manicure and pedicure , Well, someone messed that up and only put us down for pedicures so it was an extra wait but that’s OK. As I’m getting my nails done, my daughter walks up to me and every other finger was blood red from being cut several times and she had a picture of simple designs and she said he tried to do them several times and wiped them off and just said he couldn’t do them!! My daughter paid $154 to have a tan coat with a white tip!!! The person working on my nails, looked up at her hands and said no absolutely not and went straight to the owner and told her that her nails needed to be fixed. So they sent her to another guy And I think his name is Dan and he was very good at the designs and he didn’t have no problems doing them!!! So finally, she got what she wanted But five out of the eight of us did not like our nails at all!!!! When you pay almost $200 you should walk out very happy. So now what makes me leave a one review Is they called every single one of our bridal party to try to get a hold of my daughter because they didn’t charge her the $20 for the design!!!!!! Every single bridesmaid, and even the bride was called to get a hold of my daughter to come back and pay $20 after the first guy cut her every other finger, her fingers were burning ,and couldn’t do a design and they do that to us!!!! That is absolutely insane to call your group party for $20 which she has already paid for!!!! It is a hit or miss if you get someone good here And people continue to go to the ones that they know are good. He also did her pedicure and. she was in so much pain from him digging so bad she couldn’t hardly stand it!!! It just blows my mind and we will never ever be back!!!! You just completely embarrassed, my daughter who is getting married and her bridal party and ruined her day with her friends to get their nails done!!! Thank you for ruining that day for her!!!! Here is a photo of design. She first requested, and he couldn’t do. Notice how red her cuticles are...
Read moreClient beware! Myself and my daughter (12 years old) went in for back-to-school nails. I got a pedicure, and she got a full set. We were sat across the room from one another, and she showed Vicki a picture of what she would like her nails to look like. She did not know and was not informed all the additional costs that would go into getting French tip style with green tips. And Vicki did not tell her, and no one came to speak to me about the upcharge, she also applied gel polish without ever asking. When I asked why her nails cost as much as they did, I was told because she wanted multiple colors (green tips 1 finger white tip and the "base" powder). I explained she did not know any better and someone should have explained or asked me. I was told they don't ask the mom because that is rude to the girl who may be paying herself. Ok then I said your brochure shows $40 for a full set with regular polish …. in the future how should we tell the nail tech she wants her nails, so we don't make the same mistake. I was never given a straight answer and was told it is up to the customer to show what they want and ask the cost. Coming from a family of licensed hairdressers (in the same industry) they are always up front about the costs of the "picture". When I could not get a straight answer from her on the $40 nails. She told me she was too busy to talk about it anymore. I said that is because you know you are wrong and took advantage and scammed my daughter. Just be sure to ask the cost before anything is done at this salon because their brochure is just a suggestion and never the real price. Also, they were going to divide the tip I paid on the credit card the way they wanted being Vickie (the owner) to receive the majority and her employee only receiving $5.00. I saw the receptionist write on the receipt the amounts under their names. I called back and asked how it was being divided and I was told it hadn't been done yet. I watched her write it that way. So, I said I want it split evenly. Hopefully my nail tech that was wonderful got her...
