Update 6/19/2024 Ok so gave this another try. Again waited way too long In The drive thru. We order a basic chicken sandwich, fries and 3 strips. 3 cars behind us had their food walked to them and left before someone cane to our car and said can you pull up, after 6 cars in front of us left as well. I said what's going on? She said they were on fries, and would be another 5 mins (which were NOT hot and fresh) I asked for 2 cups of ice before we went to pull up, heard the mgr or lead say what's the hold up? As they were walking our food out. As were pulling forward. .... I'm sorry but you asking what the hold up is when half the people waiting on food are wondering that. This one is by far poorly ran. Also, I might add the staff is not like normal staff members. They are not friendly ever. Instead no smiles, have a good day oh and the phrase never comes out of their mouths... my pleasure it's more like other fast food / restaurants service is now for some reason. I'm thinking corporate might need to pop in and see what secret shoppers might have to say. Just sayin...
This is an update to the previous review... So we waited 30 mins in the drive thru. All chick filas are pretty busy but this one, wow it will take you forever to get through here. 30 mins is not called for.
Then to have your order messed up and missing things. I've had missing items, charged wrong etc... Many.many times at this location. When calling to let the manager know and they apologize which is the right thing to do and then says they will send you cards in the mail. Not this has been brought to their attention at least 3 times and they made it right one of the 3 times that I called about. So never had the cards sent two of those three times. Tried one more time giving this locationa try and stopped going. Orders always messed up and takes wayy to long to get through the drive thru and going into order. I never called about at least 4 other mess ups. You almost wait just as long inside. Now we go to Clark rd location and Gulfgate in sarasota. And let me tell you the lines can get long at all of them but I've never waited 30 mins for food. Maybe no longer than 10 mins. I know it's about management training employees how to be concerned about the customers and get the job done. The owner of the one on fruitville and utc she has it down. I thought they would be trained by the same company but now I'm wondering.
Previous review... Just tried the online ordering. What a waste of time. You can't start your order til you get there and have no idea until after you pay. Hubby has been in there now for 15 mins waiting when usually online orders don't take that long. We even went in for it. Instead of waiting In a 20 car drive through line.

Read moreChick-fil-A is usually great but this location has really gone downhill, at least the morning shift has. I would normally stop by this location for breakfast once or twice a week and although the lines are long the service is usually fairly quick and the people are friendly but here lately that hasn't been the case. The food has gotten terrible and they started getting our orders wrong. The first two times I just brushed it off but the third time is enough to keep me from ever returning. 1st time-extra butter biscuit missing (simple mistake but sucked) 2nd time- made us pull up and wait an extra 5 minutes (after getting through the entire long line) then to make matters worse the breakfast bowls were so skimpy with practically no egg or cheese 3rd time practically the same thing!! Made us wait extra (not the biggest deal) BUT then the one breakfast bowl I ordered literally looked like someone had ate half of it and saved me the rest 😂 no cheese, hardly any egg it was just a little bit of hash browns with some sausage chopped up on top BUT to top it off the bacon egg and cheese biscuit my husband ordered ONLY had bacon. Like a new person seen bacon biscuit on the screen and just put bacon on it 🤦🏼♀️ It was gross and neither of us could eat it. Then to top it all off the usually hot, crispy delicious hash browns were somehow mushed but still cooked crispy, like a little extra crispy 🤷🏼♀️ They were edible but disappointing like the rest of that meal. Making that entire third order completely terrible after waiting all that time.
