Wish I could give them no stars. Just left there. Walked into lobby at 9:40, the only one inside at the moment. Ordered my food then proceeded to wait. Few more customers walked inside and ordered as well. While another customer and I conversed, we noticed an employee, while wearing gloves touch his mouth and nose. So as to not make a scene I whispered to the manager could she ask him to change his gloves. I didn't want any other customers to hear me and I didn't want to embarrass the young man. She asked him and he complied. Should have been the end right? Not at all. So after waiting 15 min for my food, because for some reason they had to set the line back up, the manager basically came over and just dropped my food on the counter and walked away. She didn't throw it but you know when someone is being very Xtra. Still tryin to not have MY night ruined and because I had three meals i simply said, "may I have a bag please". As she got the bag I lifted the boxes so I can put them in the bag she then threw the bag on the counter. I asked her what the issue was and why she put the bag on the counter, I was doing her a favor by helping put it in the bag. She said "because I have other customers waiting". At that time I asked if she was the manager because i couldn't see an employee acting in that manor without worry. She said she was, so i asked her name. She said she didn't have one. She must be a horrible person to work for because when she turned around an employee told me her name was Brandy. Don't know if that's her name or not. So I asked Brandy if she was she not fond of her job. She stated that if I only new how many people have threatened her job. I never threatened her job, I don't have that power, i just asked the obvious question. ONE WOULD THINK THAT SHE WAS DARING THEM TO FIRE HER. No Seriously. I did take out my phone to record all this but then she threatened to call the police so I just recorded myself. She actually said she did call. So I decided to wait outside. After waiting idk maybe ten minutes or so I wanted to know what was taking so long for them to get there. I went to ask but she locked the door and simply stated "lobbies closed" I assumed she was faking about the call, I mean on what grounds. I'm sure taco bell has at least one camera in there. I left but I will follow up on this tomorrow. Btw I dont even know why I bothered to go. Either the food is always bad or the order is wrong. Sucks to because I like tacos. The only thing I'm struggling with honestly is the WHY? I don't want to falsely accuse anyone of being the R word. But... idk. I'm hoping it was because I walked in at 9:40 and they had shut down the line. I mean business hours are business hours. If that's the problem they need to take that up with corporate. Don't let people in and then have an attitude. If you don't like your job, which it was clear to me that you didn't, get another one. Psss... wasted...
Read moreThe lady at the drive thru was fantastic, great customer service. My typical line-up includes the grilled cheese burrito with steak with those yummy little red crunchy things. More often than not it's on target and absolutely delicious. There have been a few times where there was so much sauce dripping everywhere I felt like I could have been clutching a sauce covered rack of ribs at a family bbq. It was almost comical at the insane amount of sauce vs the almost nonexistent meat, legit swimming in it. Everyone has their moments, I try to shrug it off and feel grateful for a hot meal. These sub par burrito experiences have not been enough to deter me from continually throwing money at your establishment. I've been giving each shift worker the benefit of the doubt, I know they got it in them to make it right. At least one would think anyway... I'm not sure if they made the serving spoons smaller or what, but it's disheartening when I dig in and get maybe 3 bites with those red crunchy things and mayyyyybe a tablespoon of meat, and it's typically towards only one end of the wrap. Majority is mostly sauce, cheese, n wrap. When that happens it's a super sad moment, as I am anticipating there to be more steak, at least a little nibble of it thru the whole burrito, esp at $8 each. I know cost of goods, yaddity yadda, just another scoop of that meat, purdy please. I would be ever so grateful. Ultimately y'all know I will indeed pass through your window at least once more and I am hoping there's actually a normal/decent portion of meat on that...
Read moreMisread a menu item and it was an experience. I thought I had ordered a buffalo chicken burrito, which I thought because I saw the words buffalo and burrito and my brain autocorrected it for me. What I received was what I ordered but my expectations betrayed me. As I bit in to this delicious smelling burrito my pallet was immediately assaulted by sharp crunchy mouth stabbing fries. I am a sane and rational person so I've never once ordered fries from my favorite drunk stop and taco shop so I can't say for certain, but I don't think Taco Bell has ever met a French fry. French fries bring love, joy, and high levels of LDL cholesterol not pain and sadness unseen since every Oscar ceremony Leonardo DiCaprio attended prior to 2016. Also for some reason there was just this weird pocket of sour cream at the very bottom? Like maybe it was user error but I've always felt sour cream should be added horizontally throughout the burrito not jammed into the very bottom. Also based on the blood dripping from my mouth at the time I'm not sure the sour cream would have helped if it was done correctly. I do have to say Taco Bell is the best innovation, and sometimes they're going to mess up. I give four stars for the excellent and quick service and take away one star for the trauma of my...
