I first would like to say, thank you for all the fine staff, and hospitality that I received during my stay at Cozy. Along with myself, was my fur baby Amelia. Not only did she enjoyed her stay there, she met other fur babies that welcomed her. There is so much I could say about this fine establishment, words alone would not be appropriate. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, cleanliness, peace and quietness at this location. With their WiFi I was able to work out of my RV, since I work remote at home, and this allowed me not to have use the majority of my vacation time. There were so many amenities that was offered such as a lounge that I throughly enjoyed which included the use of washers and dryers if you chose to use them. Also there were coffee and tea that was available for you, the Black Orange Tea was delicious by the way. This lounge allowed me to sit down away from my RV and pretty much focus my thoughts on me when needed. Make sure you mark you destination on their huge map they have posted in the lounge as to where you came from, I though that was real cute. On the other side of the lounge there were bathroom/wash area/large shower area that was well maintained everyday for your personal use if needed. Next to the sight were areas that was walking distance, such as restaurants and Grocery stores and shopping areas. Being at Cozy I felt right at home and will definitely be back to visit my.son and his family. I know I wrote a book, but I feel Cozy should be listed in all magazines. Thank you for allowing me to stay there during my vacation and to meet my new Grandson. Amelia 🐕 says thank you too. What a great stay and RV site. I will use this facility when I return to Florida, coming from VA. I will definitely be back!!!! God...
Read morePros: Very clean and well maintained. Level concrete pads. Very close to anything you need. Staff was helpful when you called ( no staff on site).
Cons. We have a large toyhauler. For us to put down our ramp and park our truck we need approximately 80 feet. These back in sights are less than 70 feet and you are not allowed to park on the grass. Our truck was hit by the tail swing of another camper as they were trying to exit the park. We contacted the park owners just to let them know of the incident and they never even responded, not that we expected them to do anything, just simply wanted them to be aware. We also had problems with our pedestal and our power going off and on. The problem was not our rig as we have never had problems prior to this camp, or after this campsite with our power and pedestal. Our rear end was in the bushes. The other thing to be aware of is that the road noise is very loud all day and night. Even if we downsize we would not return to this campground because of the road noise and constant sirens. Also there is no one in the office so receiving any packages or Amazon is very inconvenient for fulltime RV people. We camped at Cozy Corner RV Lodge in a...
Read moreWe found this this Campground to be very nice, and the name says it all (Cozy Corner), as it is "tucked" very nicely into a secluded area a block off one of the main roads in Ft. Walton Beach. It is a very convenient location since it's really only 5 miles or less to everything the area has to offer!! Within walking distance are some very good places to eat, including Sonny's BBQ and Stewby's Seafood Shanty. The Campsites had level concrete pads (and Level is always great!!). The bathrooms/showers were very clean as well as the laundry facility. The entire campground was very clean and well kept. There was some road noise that you heard during the daytime hours, but it was quiet during the evening after 9pm through the next morning around 7:30am, so getting a good night's sleep was not a problem. One of the security gates was missing/not functioning while we were there, but it appeared that it was in the process of being repaired. Also, for those with travel trailers; sites #12-16 seem to be "pull-in" sites, which might be hard to use conveniently as your tow vehicle will be hard to retrieve and use, and if you "back in" then your patio & utilities are reversed. Those six sites would seem to be better suited for drivable motor homes/coaches that could just simply pull in. Overall, we had a very nice and enjoyable 6 nights at Cozy...
