Adobe Park — Attraction in Castro Valley

I'm just picking up the sport, and thought there was more to this park. It has a two-foot funbox, a rail, and a ~4' quarter pipe.

This being about the only place in Castro Valley that you can skate without getting in trouble, I'm disappointed there was nothing for beginners, like small boxes, interesting terrain, curbs, or anything. The only flat ground out of the way of people's lines is a walkway that is actively used by pedestrians.

As a life-long CV resident, I think we should be embarrassed that this is the outlet we give...

Decent park. It's got a nice little setup for skaters and its convenient for me because my sons school it's right next door. Only downside is occasionally you'll have to pass by a group of teens listening to gangster rap and smoking weed to get to the parking lot. Other than that...
