What a nightmare! It disgusts me to even have to leave a single star on this review. First time I EVER walked into an Apple Store in the 16 years I’ve been an Apple customer and left in literal tears and absolutely heartbroken. Made an appointment to have someone help me with some glitch issues I was having with my 2 year old IPhone 13 that was physically in great condition. I was told diagnostics showed a part of the “brain” of my phone was going bad for reasons unknown and I could either purchase a new phone or leave my phone and pay $350 to have the part fixed. I told the employee I would hold off and bring it back in a few weeks to be fixed (I’m due to have a baby in 2 weeks and didn’t want to be without a phone for an extended period of time in case I had to reach my husband / family). I then explained that one of my issues was that even though I had purchased iCloud weeks before to back up all of my data, photos and videos, that iCloud was not picking up the transfer of my data. I explained how worried I was about this because I had 7,000 photos and videos of my 3 children, encompassing almost the entire span of their lives on that phone. The employee noticed I didn’t have the newest update (due to lack of storage, THE LITERAL PROBLEM I WAS TRYING TO HAVE FIXED) and suggested he would force the update by plugging my phone into a computer and that it would be quick and simple. Never explaining or warning me of the risks! The update crashed my phone, making it stuck in limbo between software, ruining my phone and making me lose almost every photo and video of my 3 children that I have. I left with an “im sorry” and a company card to call to try to retrieve my data lost. I called the company they suggested and they want to charge me almost $4,000 if they are even capable of extracting the data! I have already dished out $1,000 for a new phone unexpectedly and now I have to chose between my children’s childhood photos and 4,000 dollars, something my family absolutely can not afford! I have called the store and corporate and they aren’t willing to help me at all! To say I’m devastated is an understatement and I have spent HOURS crying over this catastrophe. Stay far away...

Read moreI don’t usually go and write bad reviews but this has made me sick with all of the time, energy and money waisted. Horrible experience… after explaining my situation to the rep about what I have gone through submitting a claim through apple support with my apple care + plan on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and how much of an ordeal it has been holding up 1400.00 in my account I was hopeful they would make it right and give me a replacement phone due to a broken screen back and camera. Unfortunately after getting the run around for and hour or so they stated the only options were to send my phone in for diagnostic or come back another time to “fix” because they were too busy that day and there was no guarantee that would work and I still might be out of a phone off they have to send it in. Meanwhile another customer with the same coverage and the same damaged back screen walked in and out in 10 mins with perfect experience and Recieving a new phone. Because that’s why you purchase apple care right? Apple care is apple care doesn’t matter how you purchased it. So once again now I am processing a new claim with apple support hanging up another 1400.00 on my card in hopes they will provide me the replacement they advertise with this policy. I have never experienced this lack of service in my life. I feel like I just received the wrong representative that day. And he wasn’t willing to help. Just wanted to come up with more exhausting ways to cause more frustration. There shouldn’t be a difference from customer to customer with the same service plan. I asked to speak with a supervisor and none was provided. Continued to say there’s nothing they can do…. Not a great store. Should value...
