Thank you Cesar! I know it's a couple of days late, but I have so many great things to say about this Gamestop and I am extremely grateful to it's staff. In particular Cesar! I called this store multiple times from an out of state area code (personal cellphone) originally after being directed from another Gamestop about this location in particular having the only switch 2 bundle with Mario Kart World within a 50 mile radius of where I was at the time. Originally I was disheartened by no answer but out of nowhere my phone rang and it was Cesar. He apologized for not answering as the store was slammed and wanted to call back to see if there was any help he could provide. I mean what Gamestop employee goes out of thier way to call a random out of state number back just to offer service? Thank you! He confirmed he had one bundle left and not only that. He stayed on the phone with my wife and I for nearly 50 minutes while answering all our questions about Nintendo, games, bundles, pricing, deals, rewards, points, etc. Breaking everything down for us, all while running the store and helping other customers. (Absolutely spectacular by the way! ) He held the switch and games for us so we could arrive later in the evening around 7 PM. The store and mall closed at 8 PM and this man stayed with us until 8:35 getting us squared away like proper soldiers 😆. He helped us get the games that I would really like, accessories I actually needed, helped us stay within our budget and was extremely friendly. My wife and I absolutely adored him and he made us feel like family. I never thought that we would re-up our pro rewards after canceling two years ago after all the changes Gamestop made to it, but he made it worth our while. The store was exceptionally clean, well organized, and well stocked for a smaller location in the mall. Cesar and to this Gamestop location in particular. Thank you and may God Bless you. My eldest (18) thought the switch 2 was for everyone to share. Ugh nope 🙅♂️ this one was for me ❤️ May God Bless all who...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at GameStop. I had purchased a gaming console with an extended warranty, believing that this would safeguard my investment. However, when the console began malfunctioning, I encountered nothing but obstacles.
Despite having a clear warranty, the staff at GameStop were unhelpful and dismissive. They refused to honor the warranty, providing vague and unconvincing reasons for their inability to assist. This blatant disregard for customer service and failure to uphold their warranty agreement is unacceptable.
The lack of professionalism and responsibility at this GameStop location has completely eroded my trust in their brand. Customers should be able to rely on the promises made at the time of purchase, especially regarding warranties. Sadly, this was not the case for me, and I am left with a defective product and a sense of betrayal by a company I once trusted.
I strongly advise others to consider this experience before making purchases at GameStop, especially when it comes to warranty-dependent items. Their failure to provide basic customer support and honor their commitments is a serious concern that potential customers should...
Read moreSo apparently there’s a promotion if you trade two games towards a copy of Mortal Kombat you get a couple extra bucks, beforehand, I called and the gentleman that helped me told me my copies of Doom and Diablo III would net me $38.00, upon arriving at the store, he rang everything up and the amount for both copies came out to $48 and some change, and then he adjusted the amount for $38, I was watching the whole thing on screen, must of taken me for an idiot, after I brought to his attention, he mentioned that there’s a promotion for trading in two games towards Mortal Kombat, so why would you adjust the amount? For a lousy $10? A friendly reminder that you work for minimum wage for a multi-billion dollar company. Don’t undermine my intelligence. This review also applies to the rude employee that assisted me one time, for no apparent reason other than the fact I was purchasing a game. GameStop employees, you’ve harbored a reputation for being rude know it all, incel employees on reddit, now you’ve...
