Asheville Cottages — Attraction in Asheville

If you think the photos on the Asheville Cottages site look impressive, they don’t come close to the beauty and luxury you’ll experience during your stay. The “cottages” are tucked into a beautiful wooded landscape with plenty of space between them to allow privacy. Every morning we were treated to lovely sounds by various song birds - so incredible I even joked with the owners that they were piping the sounds into the forest. When we first walked in, the smell of fresh wood made us feel like we were the first people to step foot in the house. Everything is shiny and clean, and the furniture and decor are spectacular. You have everything you need in the way of dishes, utensils, pots & pans, and containers for left overs. Plus… here’s just a small sample of the incredible add-ons we never expected to see - a supply of Keurig pods that lasted three avid coffee drinkers for a 5-day stay. a H U G E basket of goodies that contained muffins, chips, and other assorted snacks; a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, juices, and water; and everything you need for doing laundry, running the dishwasher, and plenty of trash bags. The owners checked in with us by text upon our arrival to ensure we had everything we need and to make us aware they were available at any time should we have questions or need something. There are so many incredible, unexpected features in these houses - heated bathroom floors, hot tub thoughtfully enclosed on the back patio, Alexa speakers for music, luxurious towels and robes - it was just unbelievable. And the location is so perfect for getting around to all the great things to see and do in Asheville. On a scale of 1-5, this place rates 100. We stayed in the Bent Creek Cottage in mid July of 2017. We found it to contain every amenity needed and was very clean ! We have stayed in many places with kitchens and usually find that it's impossible to actually prepare meals due to the lack of basic amenities! We end up eating every meal in a restaurant which adds up with a family of 5. This was not a problem in the Bent Creek which even thought of the basics such as Olive oil, salt, paper and aluminum! They also provided at no extra cost snacks and drinks to start your vacation. That's a relief when you unpack and don't feel like hitting the grocery store right away. Not only have they provided every amenity but they have left instructions for everything so you're not wasting time trying to figure out how to work an appliance or where the extra linens are located etc. They're also very open to guest calling them with any questions. We found everything clean and in great shape. We never, ever use hot tubs while on vacation due to the fact that they can be full of bacteria when not cleaned properly but we actually used the hot-tub on the back porch because we trusted and could actually smell how clean it was! The location is on a quiet street albeit in a neighborhood. It's very convenient to the airport, shopping and many restaurants. We stayed there while picking up our daughters from camp in Black Mountain. We think it serves as a great base of operations for visiting in and around the Asheville area. Our stay at Asheville Cottages was nothing short of spectacular! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The experience from start to finish was outstanding, and it's undoubtedly the best place we've ever had the pleasure of staying in.
