I am not quite sure why they have a separate designation for what is essentially Siesta Key Beach. I like the north end of the beach because it's usually less crowded in the off season and it's a shorter walk from the parking lot. Beautiful!!!! First time visiting Sarasota area and siesta beach. A lot of people here! But.. beach area is huge so it's not crowded at all! Sunset is must see! Gorgeous! If you do go during the day make sure to have a lot of sunscreen lol it's baking hot sun here! I did get burned after the first day 😞 Water was a little cooler then I expected for the time...
