Prior to 2020, we had stayed at the Ringling Beach House on several occasions and it was a fantastic property. However, now that it is under new ownership, it has completely gone downhill. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking to visit.||We stayed in the Tiger apartment, which sleeps four (2 Beds/2 Baths). The apartment lacked essential supplies such as adequate towels, dish and hand soap, toliet paper, and trash bags. When we asked for additional towels for the four of us staying, we were refused extras and informed the policy was one towel per person only to be changed out after three days. We were also only provided with a roll and a half of toliet paper, and never provided additional rolls despite having requested it, such that we had to purchase our own. The kitchen was not stocked with any dish towels or soap, and only one trash bag was provided. We were only provided two beach towels for the four of us, but thankfully two of us had packed our own beach towels.||The most disappointing part was the fact that the beach equipment was insufficient and in poor condition. The limited chairs available were rusty, broken, and not even beach chairs, but rather foldable camp chairs. There were also limited beach umbrellas and wagons available, all of which were rusty and unusable. We essentially had to scavenge through a pile of trash to find semi-usable equipment.||When we raised these issues to the property manager, we were patronized and lied to.||The provided amenities completely failed to live up to what is advertised on the website and communicated in booking emails. It should also be noted all the photographs of the property being used online are outdated and from when it was under the prior ownership. I also subsequently found out they are not members of the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce nor are they members of the Visit Sarasota County Association.||The Ringling Beach House has turned into an overpriced, fly by night operation. I do not recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Siesta Key as it falls short of the exceptional hospitality provided by the many other properties...
Read moreWe checked in Monday afternoon 2/26/24 and couldn’t stay the whole time of our reservation because we paid for peace and to get sleep! Had to leave Tuesday Morning 2/27/24 and made a reservation at another hotel.||The manager Roberto was nice and said this was a renovated apartment. He had shampoo/conditioner and a few chips on the table which was thoughtful when walking in. When you get in the living room and kitchen it appears clean but when you get to the bedrooms good luck! I doubt they changed the sheets as they are wrinkled like someone slept in them. Long hair, bugs, and small hairs were found on the pillows and in the bed. Hair and bugs were on the floors so it definitely needs a good vacuum or mop to the floors. We were on the top floor, which we thought was good but the next door neighborhoods were blaring there music all day and night starting at 5 pm after we checked in until 9 am. Then we had a group of people below us partying with loud music until 2 am. We heard consist ping pong balls below us so I’d guess they were playing beer pong unless they fit a ping pong table in there unit. I wish I would have known this is a party place; otherwise I would not have booked it! I I informed the manager that our family can’t take one more night here as we paid for relaxation and sleep for two nights. He offered to move us to another unit but I knew we would have the same problem since the downstairs neighbors were also having a party all night and it wouldn’t pay to stay another night with loud party music. What a rip off- you pay to listen to loud music all night like you’re in a raging college party and Roberto said he couldn’t reimburse me a night especially since we left the next day and didn’t stay the whole reservation!!! Not worth it and a huge rip off!! I paid for relaxation and sleep; not to move from apartment to apartment in search of such a simple request!! So If you are looking for a party unit where you don’t sleep much with music blaring and aren’t concerned about sleeping or cleanliness this is...
Read moreWe have been traveling to Siesta Key for several years and have stayed in several different beach condos with various property management companies. We have had nothing but exceptional amenities and hospitality on each of our trips, but that was not the case with The Ringling Beach House.

You may consider having an up-to-date tetanus shot if you decide to stay here and use the so-called beach amenities.
Overall, the provided amenities completely failed to live up to what is advertised on the website and communicated in booking emails. We will never stay here again under under this current ownership, and I would not recommend The Ringling Beach House as there are several others accomodations on Siesta Key that provide adequate, quality amentities for...
