Having hosted a small gathering amongst colleagues here, I felt compelled to express the absolutely incredible service and experience we received from your staff.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by none other than Jady over in the billiards section. Despite the undeniable bustle that filled the venue, her warm and welcoming demeanor radiated through, rendering us immediately at ease. She meticulously attended to us, demonstrating an exemplary level of customer service. Arias of personal attention and an in-depth understanding of the services on offer were seamlessly woven into our interactions. Jady, an embodiment of true hospitality, certainly set the stage for a memorable evening.
I also got the chance to engage with Cynthia, your shift manager for the evening. It was evident how her adept management skills trickled down to have such a harmonious operation in full swing. She swiftly surfaced to cater to my feedback, a testament to her responsiveness and dedication. Cynthia's leadership qualities are indeed commendable. My fellow patrons and I are genuinely grateful for her integral role in orchestrating such an unforgettable experience.
Lastly, I must mention the effervescent Maria, our concierge for the evening. Despite her demanding role of shuttling between lanes, she seamlessly managed a multitude of our food orders once our lanes opened up. Her pleasant demeanor and unwavering efficiency emanated not only comfort but also a sense of home. Needless to say, we were thoroughly impressed and undoubtedly felt like honored guests. I say this with no reservation: as someone that has not gone bowling in years, Maria’s service bade us feel like we were meant to return.
I must extend my appreciation for recruiting such a capable and dedicated team. To see such high caliber personnel like Jady, Cynthia, and Maria reflects exceptionally well on Bird Bowl's hiring standards and practices. Such employees are truly the backbone ensuring a lasting legacy for this establishment, and I look forward to seeing them again soon.
I am excited to say that thanks to the diligent work and dedication of your remarkable staff, I am already looking forward to my next visit. I am confident that Bird Bowl will retain its charm and service quality for many more years to come, so please accept my humble thanks to you...
Read moreSunday, August 27th, 2023 4:00pm 3 adults and 1 child. One lane for an hour plus rental shoes $60+ (We had not been bowling or at this location in 10+ years)
Private parking lot, short wait to pay, no wait for shoes, upon setting up game, entering names and selecting our ball, we needed the metal piece to roll the ball and lane rails/guards for the child (9 yrs old) to practice and waited a good 5-10 mins for someone to come so we lost that gaming time however we truly enjoyed playing. *later that night, all 3 adults complained of soreness in shoulder and elbows from the work out. So get your biofreeze ready :) *
We even helped he family next to us that were two adults and two small children (both under the age of 8). They didn’t have the rails or metal piece for ball, the children were hating life crying and tantrums, once I suggested it, the father said “but isn’t that cheating”, I said “not while someone is practicing especially minor children”, once they got those two needed things they had a wonderful time with dry eyes and smiles, even the parents started enjoying themselves and thanked me.
Overall good vibes everywhere. Everyone seemed happy, smiling, and laughing. Saw a lot of great players about especially two young men with their own shoes and bowling balls. Impressive to see young folks into this sport.
They also had billiard tables and a gaming room for those interested.
Advice: prior to paying and getting to lane…..select your bowling ball first and ask about the button to add lane rails to younger players only so you don’t waste any gaming time. If the ball you prefer isn’t at your lane, they have a selection of balls aligned against the back wall.
During the week, they have bowling specials (look for them online). We plan on returning Wednesday for bowling and...
Read moreMy company previously held a few employee and company sponsored events here in the past and they were great. But unfortunately, several of the colleagues at our firm tried to setup our largest bowling event yet (over 80 ppl), to no avail. The sales team was surprisingly difficult to work with and it seems that they were not particularly organized for events of this scale and were not particularly customer friendly.
When asking to speak to Bird Bowl's GM (several calls daily), we were consistently roadblocked and said that our "issue" (glad to know that is what it was considered) is something that is controlled and handled by the sales team. I had to google who the GM was (Dion) and ask for that individual and even then we were still routed to either sales or voicemail (apparently everytime we called, that person was on the floor and could not be reached). After numerous voicemails to the GM (assuming that we were routed to the appropriate voicemail box) not a single one was returned.
It's unfortunate that this happened because our colleagues and their families loved going to bird bowl because of how family friendly this venue usually is. Our situation was really simple too - it was over an overcharge for our group (basically, our group of over 80ppl would pay more per person than the daily advertised rate) and that was something we could have worked out.
Our group needed to find another bowling venue that was willing to work with our party. It was not until the 11th hour (on a weekend two days before the event) that someone called to honor their own advertised rate (being that we had to coordinate such a large group, last minute details wouldn't really work). Overall was not a great customer experience and we had to book at another venue (for a...
