EL CAMION DEL TACO — Restaurant in South Miami

Food we ordered: Asada tacos Carnita tacos Santo maíz Churros I had seen the reviews and I was super excited for this place but sadly after trying it I’m amazed there are people who say these are the best tacos in Miami. The ambiance is nice but people don’t go to a taco truck because it looks pretty… I specifically asked if the asada tacos could get cilantro and onion because I don’t like pico and was told yes/ that it already came with it. Well, I open the box and no onions or cilantro. Some of the meat was tough and I don’t know if I had my hopes up because of the reviews or what but we finished this meal kinda disappointed. The carnitas were okay. There was a good amount of meat. Again, overall ok. The Santo Maíz was good and the churros were crispy and very nice. Overall I really hope this was a random mistake because I will try this place out again but I’m so disappointed that I paid $40+...

Some of the best tacos I’ve had in South Florida, an honest rival for some of my other favorites in miami (the taco stand and Taquiza).

We ordered one of every taco - the el veggie, the Cameron, pork belly, and al pastor were all outstanding. I went back for a second order of the el veggie, I just had to have another few bites of it. Also, don’t leave without grabbing some churros!
