EDIT: Canny's response below and the responses to the MANY reviews that reflect the exact same experience as mine illustrate just how far they will go to avoid accountability for how they have harmed their customers. Imagine if it were you, and RUN, don't walk, away from this lash salon. It is an actual nightmare.
Canny refuses to give me a refund unless I come back into the store. I let her know that after two terrible and frightening experiences, I'm not willing to drive one hour to a store that makes me feel uncomfortable. So far, they have taken accountability for absolutely nothing and blamed me for the issue while citing that I signed an agreement. I told them that that was BEFORE I had a terrible experience and found dozens of people online who felt the same.

Zero stars. Have you ever been to a lash appointment that was actually scary? Hereās what happened. First time I walked in, completely trusting, passed out in a lash nap and woke up to see the work. I opened my eyes and hated it immediately. It looked like clumping mascara. Super unnatural, patchy, and not pretty.
I came back the next day to have it fixed. I was fighting with the tech (Nicole) was fighting with me telling me it was my fault because I asked for āa little bit fullerā than the picture. I had to argue with her to tell her that it still looks messed up. Oh also there was glue stuck to my eye. And this glue did not seem like normal glue, it was extra strong (I wonder if itās FDA approved)
While she was fixing it, I was scared. I could feel her working so close to my lash line. I could feel her sharp tools. I felt her CUTTING my real lashes with scissors. I had to tell her during the appointment to be more careful and not put the lashes too close to the lash line.
She had scissors next to my eye and didnāt move them while she was screaming at her daughter to stop running around. Sheās yelling at her kid w sharp scissors so close to my eye. I had to stop her to pay attention.
The lashes are very uncomfortable. They are heavy and long and glued way too close to my lash lines - i am very worried about damage to my lashes and cannot wait for these to fall off as they are uncomfortable.
I have gotten my lashes done dozens of times and Iāve never had any issue. Go see my girl Judy at Mimi Lashes for much better work, itās less than half the price of Canny. My normal lashes are around 60-80. These were 130.
Oh by the way I had like 3-4 old lashes still on when I arrived. They were done like 2-3 months before I came in and very minimal. She insisted on charging me $15 to remove. These people are money hungry and scam artists.
The first red flag was how absolutely disgusting and dirty it is. The bathroom is super gross. I should have left at that point but I didnāt trust my intuition. I left deeply concerned I would end up with an eye infection.
I came here to try anime lashes but the results were terrible. The lashes feel fake and artificial. My tech had a terrible work ethic and attitude. Unprofessional. Sketchy. Unclean. Low skillset
Of course they only take cash Venmo or Zelle so if you are unhappy with the service thereās no buyer protection. Luckily I called Venmo to open up a fraud case because they shouldnāt be taking business transactions through Venmo - so venmo is opening up an investigation and I hope to get my money back.

Jessica, the tech, told me my eyelids were in pain because lashes were clumped together with the glue not because they were put on too close. That means poor isolation and too much glue. She literally just separated them with tweezers for half an hour & called it a day. My eyelids are still uncomfortable due to the clumps still being there.
Summary: Your lashes will look good depending on the tech you get. Donāt go here if you want friendly service or any professionalism. You might have to remind the lash techs of basic fundamentals of lashing~
Your lash extensions will come out looking better than your average lash tech for sure and the retention avg 2 1/2 - 3 weeks āØš, thatās the only reason for 3 stars given but that will depend on which lash tech you are assigned to.
Iām not fluent in Chinese, however I do pickup some words. The tech Iāve been assigned to definitely talks about the clients, which I found very uncomfortable. To be clear not sure if theyāre talking good or bad but if they were saying good things about you why would they say it in a language that they know you will not understand š
I had the 5 times refill package which I used up, and was debating on going back because of the chitchat. But hey, the results were givingg & I can just shut the talking out with my AirPods.
So I went back yesterday, got another 5 refill packs. The lady that I get my lashes from normally was booked until later so they put me with another lady.
This lash tech put the lash so close up on my lash line to the point the extensions are touching my skin! No tiny gap between your lash line and the extensions. So every time I open and close my eyes itās uncomfortable. I initially thought it was stinging because of the glue fume- I was wrong. I came home and a couple of hours went by but the stinging was still there. I flipped my lashes to see & it turns out that it wasnāt just me being sensitive.
Iām guessing you need to remind them of leaving that space in between your lash line and the extensions haha idk how that works š¤·š»āāļø
Iāve started my lash extensions more than 10 years ago- Iāve gotten my lashes done across state, in a different country even. So I have had my fair share of lashing experience to know what should be expected. I really wanted to like this place š„² I still have 4 more refills...
