Cocoa Beach, Florida, is a fantastic destination for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The beautiful sandy shores, warm Atlantic waters, and vibrant atmosphere make it a top pick for a coastal getaway. With a variety of activities and attractions, here's my review:.
My family and I love to go to the east cost of Fl for a change. I love the fact that this beach has a little more waves than in the area we live in, we also like:
Beachfront Beauty: Cocoa Beach boasts miles of pristine, soft, and sandy beaches. Whether you're looking to relax, sunbathe, or play beach volleyball, you'll find the perfect spot to enjoy the sun and surf.

Eclectic Dining: Cocoa Beach has a diverse culinary scene. From fresh seafood shacks to upscale dining, you can savor delicious meals with a view of the ocean.
Wildlife Encounters: The nearby Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is a haven for nature lovers. You can spot manatees, alligators, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.
Vibrant Atmosphere: The city has a lively and relaxed ambiance with plenty of shops, bars, and live music venues. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy the local culture.
Family-Friendly: Cocoa Beach is family-friendly, offering activities like mini-golf, arcades, and the Brevard Zoo for kids of all ages.
Perfect Weather: Florida's subtropical climate means that it's warm and sunny most of the year, making it an ideal destination for a beach vacation.

Read moreWe decided to take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle and stop at one of our favorite beaches, a hidden gem that never ceases to bring us joy. This beach is a perfect blend of laid-back vibes and pristine beauty. The soft, golden sands stretch for miles, inviting us to kick off our shoes and sink our toes into the warm grains. It's an oasis where you can spend the entire day soaking up the sun, whether you’re lounging with a good book, catching rays, or scouting for unique seashells that wash ashore.
As we wandered along the shoreline, we stumbled upon various beach activities that filled the air with laughter and excitement. Families were building impressive sandcastles, while kids splashed joyfully in the waves. Nearby, a group of friends played beach volleyball, their shouts of friendly competition mingling with the sound of the surf.
What truly made this visit special, however, was the unexpected thrill of an airshow taking place nearby. We had been happily enjoying our day when an echoing roar caught our attention. Glancing up, we were dazzled to see fighter jets soaring through the sky, performing breathtaking maneuvers that left trails of white smoke in their wake. It was a stunning display of skill—looping, diving, and twisting against the backdrop of the endless blue sky. The crowd around us cheered, and we couldn’t help but join in, feeling the adrenaline rush as the planes zoomed by.
In between bursts of aerial acrobatics, we savored refreshments from the vibrant beach bars and restaurants dotting the boardwalk. Sipping on tropical cocktails and munching on fresh seafood, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The sound of live music wafted through the air, enhancing the festive atmosphere as the sun began to dip toward the horizon, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink.
As the day came to a close, we took a moment to reflect on all the fun we’d had, the perfect blend of relaxation and exhilaration. This beach, with its beauty and vibrant energy, never fails to enchant us, and we left feeling grateful for the wonderful memories we created, already dreaming of...
Read moreMaybe I picked a bad day to come here but when I went, I was surrounded by cigarette smokers. As soon as somebody would finish one, another group would light up. Nobody goes to the beach, especially with their family, hoping to breathe in second hand smoke. I was disgusted and will never return to this beach unless they eventually join the rest of the civilized world and ban smoking. The fact that people can go here, see all of the literal babies and toddlers sitting near them and still pull out a cigarette for the kids to breathe in is beyond me.
The water was fine. It’s like a giant wave pool, not appropriate for swimming but good for using body boards and jumping around with the waves.
I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I want to leave a 1 star review because this was the trashiest beach (lots of litter) with the trashiest people I’ve come across in Florida. It was $30 to rent an umbrella and two chairs here, and then be exposed to everybody’s cigarette smoke. It was $20 for an umbrella and two chairs at Clearwater beach and there you can enjoy the sights and scents of a beach, not an ashtray. I’m giving it 4 stars because it isn’t the beaches fault that people come here to smoke and then throw their cigarette butts...
