I'm not sure what to think at this point. I have visited twice and upon my first visit I was treated so well and loved the experience. Both orders were placed online well in advance of the visit. Today, my second visit, I experienced treatment I've never experienced at any other dispensary ever. I walked in and was asked for my license and MJ card. I provided them and it was explained that my account was never set up properly from the beginning. So after 10 minutes of him filling out something I did not see and could not explain I was allowed into the back room to pick up my online purchase placed 4 hours ahead of time. As I entered the room I noticed one other lady and asked if she was in line and she said no, she was waiting to be served. At that point I went to the container sitting on the counter where I chose a few cheap pipes during my previous visit. The moment I reached my hand out to touch the cannister of pipes I was yelled at my a tall man standing behind the counter. I was so shocked to hear an employee raising their voice at me out of the blue! He kind of chuckled as if I should already know not to touch this cannister of pipes that I had been welcomed toward during my first visit. I couldn't believe an employee was yelling at me! It was SO embarrassing, why yell at me? I had already asked if there was a line and was told no. At that point I explained that I had placed an online order and was there to pick it up. At that point I was asked for my drivers license and MD ID again. I asked why I was being checked for ID again after having been checked at the front and permitted into the back room past security but the gentleman ignored my question. He told me that he was going into the back to pick up my order but turned away and started helping someone else who just walked in. At this point I felt like I was being treated poorly. When I initially came in I asked if there was line and I was ignored then yelled at but when this other person came in they were immediately addressed and talked to with respect. After that I was ready to cancel my order and leave but I put my patience hat on and waited in line for my turn. This rude gentlemen continued to eyeball me as if I should be intimidated by him. I'm not sure what has happened in the space of a week in terms of customer service but his treatment and behavior was so rude I will not be back. The shop was empty yet three employees struggled to check out 2 people. There was one very nice man who tried to accommodate me and was very friendly but the gentlemen behind the counter continued to raise his voice and yell across the showroom and let the other employees know he was running the show. It was unbelievable. Once I got to the register to pay for my online order (behind one lady), I was asked for my driver's license and MD ID for the 4th time. It felt terrible to make a purchase here today and despite the fact this location is walking distance from my house, I will never return because I simply don't want to be yelled at, singled out and laughed at for showing up to pick up an order and attempting to buys extra pipes. Please forgive me for attempting to touch the pipe cannister that had no sign saying don't touch. Why is this cannister sitting out in the common space as if it's ok to shop from it but when you attempt to, you...
Read moreI would not recommend this location to anybody that lives in or around the Columbia area. The staff are young disrespectful hippies. That up charge each item for their own tips, if you want a good dispensary with respectfully staff there is a new one around the corner same products way cheaper prizes. The reason I am exposing this location I recently walked in to the location after just giving birth to my child was in a great mood when I walked in to the location all the cashiers where gathered up talking to one another which is okay.. but I walked in line and she called the white lady before me which is okay again a lot of people have respect for women that’s fine. Still no problem once I arrived at the front they asked for my id which is okay again but the cashier tried to charge my card 400 dollars for something that was 30 something I notified her and she started to get rude and disrespectful and slapping my hand away from the card machine which was assault I asked her to ask her manager to come out because of the situation the male manager stated that he will be reviewing the cameras and that’s all he can do. Note the manager was laughing at the situation. I have a every right to contact the police but I stated to her that she needs to understand that you do not know anybody and for you to strike me I have all rights to protect my self at that point the cashier tried to play victim once I notified her of the situation further note don’t trust this location cheaper location way better around the corner and they accept rec and...
Read moreI love this place. Unfortunately today, I’m very disappointed with Curaleaf Columbia, MD. They chose to take recreational customers before Medical patients. Medical patients are NOT here to get high, we are here to get our medication. The promise to Maryland Medical patients, and codified regulations are clear, patients always get access to their medication first, and our access always comes above that of recreational customers. This is the 2nd time that has not happened back to back. Unfortunately, I won’t be using Curaleaf for a few months as a result of this. Message to Curaleaf Corporate: Make some organizational changes at the Columbia, MD. location. The bud tenders not adhering to the medical patient access regulation(s) should work somewhere else and be retrained on the regulations and laws around Maryland patient access. They should work at a different dispensary not affiliated with Curaleaf. So disappointed today. Shame. This really hurts your normally best of the best reputation. I’m reporting this incident(s) to the MCA, also as a result of...
