Darkside Games TCGs — Attraction in Enterprise

If I could give a store a zero I would. This review is based upon culture in the store around MTG gameplay. The store hosted a Commander tournament this week. I am not from the area and my brother is new to magic. We entered the commander tournament, and introduced ourselves to our pod and explained my brother was new. When I asked about rule zero I was quickly shut down by the playgroup and told that we don't talk about deck power levels at that store. It turned out everyone was playing a 9-10 cEDH power deck, with proxies, and everyone there new that because they were regulars. We were quickly eliminated with our under powered decks that we choose to play as the tournament was not advertised as a cEDH tournament. When I mentioned my disappointment with employees, they stated that most people that play in their tournament's know it a higher powered format but they refused to advertise it as such, because they did not want to lose potential business. This is sad. I will not be returning....

Wanted to love this place but unfortunately it fell short. Not much to choose from (maybe I just went on a day where they just didnt restock) Originally, I went here to sell some magic cards and buy new merchandise but I felt unwelcomed. The guy helping me was rude off the bat. Before coming in I had called to see if they even bought those cards (magic) I was told yes over the phone, but when I was in person, the guy said "I don't want to buy them but I will" Definitely was already weirded off by that, Because it was a different attitude from when I was on the phone versus in person. And during the time of inspection in the middle of conversation and waiting for a quote he went to help multiple people with other things. I felt like I was not a priority when I was there to spend some good money , therefore I definitely will not be coming back. Absolutely waste of my time!!! Showed up at 9am with cards to trade and cash to spend. Wasn't even greeted coming through the door. Then any question I'd have about price or trade I was told they would have to call or text a guy...lmao...ok no problem you go ahead and text whoever u like..I'll never be back again. I did spend $3000.00 with gameday sports cards on a sick psa 4 56 mantle and a sweet reggie Jackson 1/1. I spend a fair amount on cards year round and I can 100% tell you not one single nickle will ever go here. UPDATE: and yes this child will kick you out of his Facebook group if you disagree with anything he says. I'm sorry that you can't take honest review and fix it. You have lots of one star bad reviews with multiple complaints about resealable packs and canceling pre orders just to make more profit on them when prices jump, and several others who have been banned for speaking truthfully. .
