Would give zero stars if possible. We brought in several pieces of furniture 5 months ago. We were told we would be called to pick up a check after anything sold. Most of the items sold in December, and checks were written in February. We were NEVER called, and the owner and staff were extremely rude the few times we attempted to inquire on items that were no longer on display. After repeated efforts we got one check 3 months ago and one this past weekend. Now one item remains, a cupboard they are using to display paints in their vendor area. I asked 4 days ago to have it more clearly marked as For Sale, as it looked too much like a fixture, and was told that the vendor using it would contact me. It was, of course, the owner using it. When my husband followed up today to see if anything had changed, the staff was again rude and he lost his cool. Shortly thereafter I got a call from the owner, who would not let me get a word in edgewise, telling me to remove my cupboard immediately or she would trash it. I left work and tried to talk to her and her staff, but she threatened that if I did not leave immediately she was calling the police. I never raised my voice, used any ugly words, or made threats - EXCEPT to publicize my terrible experience with her. I'll go back in 2 hours with a truck and see how...

A dear friend of mine introduced me to this store several years ago and I totally fell in love with both stores!! I have purchased items over the years, like furniture, chairs, jewelry, clothing. Every item in both places, tells a story of their past. Everyone who works in both stores are wonderful people who I enjoy visiting with them and they really do everything possible to help you with particular items. I hadn't been in a little while and I brought a dear friend of mine and she LOVES the store!!! And we found a few things today! There are treasures throughout both stores. I've been to this store in Newport News near James River Bridge several times. They usually have something for their customers on a regular basis, cookout special events hot dogs drinks. They have a wide selection of handmade, handcrafted items as well as Antiques and used Goods. They have an amazing selection of handmade soaps, lotions, Etc. Johnny and Robert the owners, and Timmy are amazing guys. They work hard and effortlessly to organize their inventory and are so pleasant to customers.
