Emma Lou’s Boutique — Attraction in The Woodlands

This business is the definition of an online scam. I ordered jeans through the site with a “Golden Ticket” coupon they had sent me from a TikTok shop order. The jeans didn’t fit, so I went to start a return, only for it to be rejected for final sale items. At no time during my purchase I was I informed these were final sale. I checked the policy before reaching out to make sure I hadn’t missed something. All it said was sale items are final sale, but not items with a coupon. I reached out only to be told, basically, sorry but that’s our policy. I then checked the policy again, and THEY HAD UPDATED THE VERBIAGE. It now says “anything with a coupon code 30% or cash back”. They send a “Golden Ticket” to persuade you to buy, then stick you with all the items if they don’t work out. This is an extremely predatory, terrible business practice. The owner does not understand what customer service is, but will shame you and block you on socials before admitting fault. This is the reason I don't trust online shopping. I was hesitant but so excited for my purchase, I ordered the Corky's Wedge Shoes. It took longer to receive than expected and I was very disappointed when I opened the box. The quality was not great for $70 and you definitely want to size down, could be comfortable if they fit! I wanted to return, even for a smaller size as you don't get many options to there strict return policy with no return label. Making it very difficult just to get in contact with anyone. It took a week to hear back and by then I was out of the time limit for return. With the hassle and unclear instructions... I'm not happy and will be trying to see if someone wants to buy these off of me for a good deal :( **You can get the same ones on Amazon for $60 with hassle...

Highly recommend. The staff is very helpful. I have always been treated with kindness. The owners are very nice and helpful to the customers and community as well. Before Christmas last year, I had the privilege to go along with them and about 30 other customers to shop for gifts. They were for children from the ANGEL TREE. Tiffany and Paul paid for it all. It touches my heart so much. I will continue to support this local family owned business. Thanks for all you do.
