Kolache Factory — Restaurant in Texas

I went in with a "buy 3, get 3 free" from HEB. I picked 3 different kolaches I wanted to try and got a second of each...total 6. These ranged in price from $2 -$3.50. When I got the bill it did not take 1/2 off. I asked about that and the clerk said it takes the lowest 3 off.. It did not say anything on the coupon to that effect so I was upset as she had already run my cc.

She said it would take 10 minutes to correct and I could take just a seat. Well, GRRR! I then just asked her to void the sale altogether and return my coupn.

After a few minutes the manager asked me to come over to another register. I explained the situation and she said I could have a refund, have it adjusted or better, she said she'd rather me have the kolaches, than not. So she filled my order and offered me some free kolaches of my choice. It seemed more than fair to me so I thanked her and told her we were regulars...but only after she (Connie) filled a box of yummies for me.

This is the first and only time I've had a bad experience and was ready to steam up and they totally did the first rate customer service thing to do.

I would have to say that they are totally customer centric. Nobody should lose a customer over a $2 (retail) item and if you just talk to them, they will probably make it right...

Went two times to the shop at 1488. The first time was fine, the second time was horrific. There is a slim guy who is friendly, but the second time I dealt with a chubby middle-aged lady, who knows nothing about customer service nor seems to care. Very unfriendly. On top of it, the vegetarian Kolaches (egg/potato/cheese) I ordered turned out to have pieces of bacon in them. As I realized this still on the parking lot, I went back and wanted to have them replaced. Chubby lady went with her bare hands into the filling and was trying to convince me that this is tomato! This was certainly NOT tomato, plus it is not supposed to have tomato inside in first place (egg/potato/cheese). Chubby lady didn't offer to replace the Kolaches either. I could have made a scene, but I left as I had better things to do. Won't go there...

Someone come fix their online ordering.

Overall Thank you to the manager that refunded and told us the online ordering is not working.

overall, it's your typical Kolache Factory.

P.S. they didn't have some that I wanted which was fine with me... the annoying part was one of the employee kept repeating "they are in the oven" "they are in the oven" "they are in the oven"

so.... by the employee saying that.....am i supposed to ... put on an oven mitt and get them or... you want me to do it for you?

Someone please tell that employee, "it's going to be okay, there are other kolache I can have, no need to keep telling me "they are in the oven""

It's going to be okay... I promise, there are other kolache which all taste good .. and also GO GET THEM FROM THE OVEN if it bothers...
