Fort Myer Bowling Center🎳 — Attraction in Arlington

We went to try out string bowling. String bowling seems to be taking hold so we wanted to check it out. We had a lot of fun. The house was nice and certainly not crowded for bowling. It was interesting. There did not seem to be the pin action one gets bowling without the strings but doable. We had fun.

A lot of folks were eating. We just had a snack and a couple of beers. I picked the Modelo for us as the first round. When the employee popped the cap off and handed me the bottle, there was visible rust around the top of the bottle. I pointed it out. He then gave me a cup. It smelled so bad, skunky, it was not drinkable which I pointed out to him. The second beer I purchased was a Blue Moon and there was no issue.

Go for bowling and the food. Careful...

New to the area, I googled a bowling alley and tried to go here on a Saturday night. Would've liked to verify the high star reviews but apparently they don't let civilians without military ID even get near the place. Wasted a trip and just got my car searched at the checkpoint. Stars deducted for not having accessibility information online for new-to-area visitors but a solid 3-stars...

Great little bowling alley! Prices are good, food is pretty decent, and they serve alcohol. Whether you are playing with the family or friends, this is a great spot for good fun. Music was nice, scoring was automatic, and the overall cleanliness was spot on. Even my teens had a great time!
