Some of the student staff members are really great, but others are very inattentive (when checking out equipment, one girl asked me several times what I was checking out because she couldn't pause in her conversation with her coworker long enough to hear my response). There's very little equipment that you can check out besides basketballs. About 4 out of 5 of their shuttlecocks are broken, and there aren't enough rackets for all three badminton courts. It's a nice facility but I personally wouldn't spend money to be here if it wasn't so convenient...
Read moreIt's student recreation center at Washington University in St Louis. Most students come here to work out, play badminton and for swimming and so on. It's free for students and faculty members. There is fee for alumni at discounted rate. I'm not sure outsiders can work out here. On week days and in the evening, it is usually crowded. Not too spacious.There are a lot of facilities that I have not explored yet. Update as of Feb 11, 2023 - don't take a shower at the gym. No maintenance. Update 2017-12-26 They have now added more power lifting platforms & many squat racks. I go early in the morning and rarely have to wait for a rack.
