WASHU is known for its nice community; however, the manager at the store was very rude. I purchased a jacket on a Monday on my visit; as I returned home, I realized that the jacket was actually a bit big so I called two days later explaining them the situation that I unfortunately took the tag off and lost the receipt, and the front girl said I could talk to the manager. The manager said I could return it back to their store; luckily, my friend was touring WASHU a week later so she brought it with her. She was rudely approached by the manager and said that this could not be returnable without a tag. I called back the store a few minutes later and said that I actually did find the receipt and could email her so it could be returned. Turns out she looks at it again (didn't really look at it the first time since she didn't care for it because of the no tag) and says it's definitely not returnable since the cuffs showed signs of wear WHICH THE ONLY TIME I WORE IT WAS WHEN I TRIED IT ON. The front desk does not know what's going on, which is understandable since it's possibly a work study job. When I purchased it, they also stated there had no more of those jackets on the computer BUT I WAS HOLDING IT RIGHT IN MY HAND. Will not be returning back, even though their mission is beneficial to students, it's not a welcoming environment unlike the rest...

They have a lot of WashU gear packed in a small space. They are not the official outfitter like the WashU Bookstore, but do a great job. You can absolutely find things that you cannot on the campus bookstore like sport decals.
Also Bear Necessitates has an arm of the business that deliveries treats for any occasion. I've used them for a cookie box that was well received by my son.
This is Washington University's Parent Weekend. So it's busy and they are offering big closeout sales .
I would recommend this shop. But overall the best selection will be at the on the campus...
Read moreHands down, some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Over ten days ago, I ordered a sweatshirt for my girlfriend and it still hasn’t been shipped. Every time I have called, I either get someone who has no clue what they are doing or they choose to send you to voicemail, which is always full. It is now three days before Valentines Day. Chances are they’ll continue to move this order at the same pace as a turtle stomping through...
