I was absolutely thrilled with my massage i received today @ your facility! It was absolutely the best of any massages i have received anywhere ! The staff were all extremely kind & the whole business was immaculate, front desk & rooms for massages also ! I am very pleased & i will certainly be going back !! 2/23/23 This was my 2nd trip to this facility & it was just as great as the first time ! Jenny was my massage therapist today ! Excellent! Sorry i can't remember the lady that did my massage the first time but she did an excellent job also !😊 i just had my 3rd trip to your place & each & every massage i have had have been absolutely great ! I am planning on doing this every month ! 🥰 Another great massage on 8/23/23. Still very pleased !! 🥰 Another massage on 9/26/23. My massages I have received @ Massage Crystal have all been excellent! Tina does a fabulous job! 🥰 Recent massage on 10/24/23 was, as usual, another wonderful massage ! I tell people all the time what a woderful business this is & the expert treatment with the massages are ! Keep up the good work !!💕 My massage today( 11/16/23) with Tina was wonderful as usual ! My massage today 12/28/23 was absolutely amazing!! This massage therapist did an absolutely wonderful job with the massage & the rocks ! She told me her name was Renea ! Perhaps I will get her next month when i come back ! 💕Once ahain, another 90 min massage @ this great facility! It was great & on 1-26-2024 ! I brought my cousin * my daughter in law & they were thrilled ! I will be back again next month ! Love this place !!🥰 As usual, my massage was fabulous today ! ( Feb.26, 2024)! All of the therapists that i have had have been wonderful!! I will be back again in March ! 💕 I have never had the massage therapist I had today that i know of but she was absolutely great!! l!! On February 2nd, 2025, I went to Massage Crystal in Pasadena because I booked my teenage daughter a massage for her birthday. When we got there, the lady at the front asked if we had a reservation, and I said yes. She didn’t even bother to check but kept saying, “our” room was almost ready and told us to have a seat. We sat down and waited until the room was finally available. I then told her it was just my daughter going in, not both of us. She was like, “Oh…how old is she?” Before I could answer, she asked if my daughter was a minor, and I said yes. That’s when she said I had to go in the room with her.

I didn’t want to do that for two reasons: 1) I didn’t want to spend the whole hour watching my daughter get a massage, and 2) I’ve booked massages for her before and never had to be in the room. I told the lady I could just wait in the lobby, but she insisted I had to go in. I guess she could tell I wasn’t feeling that idea, so she offered a double bed room instead, saying I could be comfortable while my daughter got her massage. I would’ve preferred to stay in the lobby, but I said okay. She then said the room was “almost available,” but we ended up waiting another 15 minutes with no update. That’s when I told her to just cancel the appointment and decided to go to another location.

I took my daughter to the Crofton location that my family usually goes to with no problems. This was actually the same place that let us wait in the lobby last year while my daughter got her massage alone. So, I figured it would be fine this time too, but I was wrong. When we got there, they asked if we had an appointment, and I said yes, my husband booked it. They couldn’t find us in the system at first but told us to have a seat. Then they called me back up and asked if it was a massage for two. I said no, it was just for my daughter. That’s when they said I’d have to go in the room with her because of their “policy.”

I told them it wasn’t an issue last year when they let my daughter go by herself while we waited in the lobby. Then, out of nowhere, the receptionist asked, “Did you just come from Pasadena?” I said yes and explained that we left because they wanted me to sit in the room with her but took forever to get it ready. I came to this location because we’ve never had issues here before. Even after all that, she still made me go in the room.

I ended up sitting in the most uncomfortable rolling chair with no back support — the same kind the masseuse uses. By the time the massage was over, my neck and upper shoulders were so tense, and three weeks later, I still feel pain. I’m really disappointed because all I wanted was to give my daughter a relaxing birthday gift, but I left feeling miserable. Honestly, I wish I had just gone home.

To top it off, the apology Pasadena sent me was pathetic. They tried to explain why this “policy” is now a thing, but it didn’t make any sense. I honestly believe the whole policy thing was a lie because neither location could show me any proof. Plus, Crofton let us wait in the lobby just last year. I really think Pasadena was just trying to push me into getting a massage for myself that day too.

It’s clear that this place cares more about making extra money than about their customers’ experience. I won’t be going back. They really need to clarify and display their policies if they want to keep customers from being...

I don’t really like to leave bad reviews and I wouldn’t necessarily say this place was “bad” but it didn’t live up to my expectations. I’ve had my fair share of time spent at multiple spas and this one was my least favorite. Let me start out by saying I’m 9 months pregnant, I was sure to mention this during the booking. With that being said I really needed a foot rub and decided I would treat myself and my husband.

I didn’t know what to expect when booking a foot rub only - I asked about if we would be soaking our feet (thinking pedicure style) and they said that it could be arranged. We showed up early for our appointment, discussed some add-ons (essential oils & hot stones) which we opted for. They didn’t seem comfortable with me getting tea-tree oil & being pregnant but after my husband talked to them they ultimately decided it would be okay. The receptionist was nice and I’d say welcoming but I felt as though she spoke really loudly and utilized a walky-talky to communicate with the employees in the back. Which again, was fine, but a little off-putting to me for a spa.

We were lead into a couples massage room. They asked us to sit on the edge of the bed to soak our feet prior to the massage (as requested) but they brought in two buckets of warm water, no jets or anything soothing. Also, my feet didn’t reach the bucket so I ended up moving to the bench in the room.

If I’m not mistaken this place offers prenatal massages - I could be wrong. But if they do, they know that pregnant women should not lay on their back starting in the second trimester. They gave me a pregnancy pillow but they used it to prop me up behind my head. I was fine laying on my back but I did start to feel a little sore (in my lower back) towards the middle of the massage.

I asked for more pressure, I’m not sure if she was being light on my feet and ankles due to the pregnancy but she did give me a little more but the pressure went back to being pretty light (basically felt like she was just rubbing lotion on my feet). My husband said his pressure was good throughout. In the beginning of our appointment we were asked to circle where we comfortable being touched, since we were only there for a foot rub, I just circled from the knees down. During my massage the woman rubbed (I wouldn’t even say massage- again very minimal pressure) my thighs and hips (over the blanket and clothing). This didn’t exactly make me feel “uncomfortable” but it wasn’t an area I circled at the beginning of our session, this could have been problematic for someone else though.

One other small thing that I will nit pick about is that the soothing music turned off for about 20 mins of our 1 hour session and you could hear doors opening and closing and people talking outside of the room.

On the positive side of things - the place felt really clean, the staff were friendly (although our verbal interactions were very short). Pricing was reasonable. Location is close to my house and there was a ton of available parking. I was relaxed for the most part and even dozed off for a second.

Would I go back? Probably not, I’ve had better experiences at many other places locally (but more towards the Annapolis area). Although, my experience may have been tainted because of my pregnancy? I’m not sure...
