Michaels — Attraction in Rancho San Diego

I hardly got my crafts unloaded at home before I decided to write this review. This michaels is open only for curbside pickup and delivery. Yesterday at 2:00 PM I placed a curbside pick up order. The website states that orders made before 3:00 PM will be available for pickup before close. I waited and no email came to say my order was ready. Today I decided to call and check in on my order... woman on the phone was nice and said that it wasn’t yet completed. I waited a full 24 hours after I placed my order to call again. I asked what the status was and they said ready, great! I live across the street from michaels so I decided to walk over and pick my items up curbside. The woman who brought my items out was rude and said that they were curbside only ( I never entered the store) and that they weren’t offering ‘contact’ at this time. I was over 6 feet away from her with both of our arms extended and she still felt the need to be rude. Upon getting back home I received an email (finally) that said my items were ready to pick up...? Very unimpressed with the customer service at...

Curbside wait is Terrible system and the yarn section was a filthy mess and the cashier was somewhat helpful but when it came to me picking up my curbside pick up in store items she said go to register 2 and no was one there for like 5 minutes and then when I rang the buzzer I waited like 3 minutes and then I rang buzzer and no one came and so I called and I watched the employee pick up the phone and I said can you call for someone to help me with my curbside order and he placed me on hold and proceeded to checkout a customer no big deal okay on that but this is the second time I had picked up order in store and it was horrible! He asked what car I was in and I said I am in the store looking at you! Overall I am switching Micheals stores! I could be a little spoiled because at Joann I get my order and I am gone in like 3 minutes to five if I pick up in store Idk but I will say this there was only one employee that was helpful and had a great smile and a real people person in the yarn section...

Drove to this location because the website stated it was the only in San Diego county that had the glasses I was looking for available. I couldn't locate it in the store anywhere so I walked up to the clerk, Kristine, and asked if I could ask her a question?....crickets, so I asked her where I could find the item, and she walked two steps and said they would be here and walked away. I was stunned at her rudeness. I asked for her name and she said, "what?". I asked again and she pointed to her name tag! One pair of glasses were hanging in the wrong area, there were no others and unfortunately, they were the wrong strength. Kristine was so snotty and put out by a simple question.
