Discovered this place in mid-February and I used to love it and visit twice a week or more, but they have changed so much ever since and unfortunately not for the better. Prices for Kuji machines used to be just a little bit around 10-15 credits, but now majority are over 17 credits. Also, A pokemon Kuji machine is for some reason priced at an egregious 52 credits per play. May as well buy a Kuji ticket. They also unfortunately have removed all plushies from the machines (besides keychains, which are also oddly pricey to play, as they used to be 5 credits, but now they’re 9.5, which is shocking to see as former medium plush machines would typically cost 6.8 per play and larger plushies would be 10.5-15), and I guess that was because they were trying to stick to their “blindbox clawcade“ name, but these machines are unfortunately also expensive to play. $10 in credits will only ever give you 1 play on a blindbox machine or kuji. True that they may be “high-end” blind boxes, but that doesn’t mean the price for 2 plays in the claw shouldn’t be the same price to just buy it. I wish they kept majority of their machines with plushies and a few blindbox machines and kept their shop full of blind boxes (to which it currently is) and gave customers the option of keeping plushies in or trading them for stars to buy the blind boxes, because the machines are just full of blindboxes that are being sold in the their shop. I wanted to collect stars, but there’s nothing to trade in for stars (again, besides the keychains but they’re too expensive to play, all for a Chance at a single star) as all machines are just the blindboxes, Kujis, or single pokemon card packs. I hope they can bring back some plush machines or at least lower the costs to play some machines. Let me not forget, the staff haven’t changed and have always been great. It’s unfortunately just the machine prizes and prices that are putting my...
Read moreUsed to love this place… but it’s not the same anymore. 😕 I used to really love coming here. It had charm, excitement, and a great mix of prizes honestly. But lately, it’s lost that magic and honestly feels kind of scummy now. There’s barely any AC, a lot of the small claw machines are empty, and the whole place feels neglected tbh. Yes, I’ve read the responses to other reviews- but customers, even loyal ones, don’t want excuses. We want a reason to keep coming back. Most of the games just aren’t fun anymore. The pricing feels steep, especially for prizes that are cheaply made and often defective (ripping keychains, messed-up stitching, weird eye or limb placement, etc.). Right now, only the small claw machines feel somewhat fair and worth the money — and I’m already noticing the variety there going downhill too. When this place first opened, there was an exciting mix: plushies, figures, blind boxes, trading cards. People had options. Now it feels like 85% Pokémon cards and blind boxes, with multiple machines offering the same exact product. It’s repetitive and boring. Start rotating prizes more frequently and promote them on social media! Build hype, show off what’s new- give people a reason to make the trip. That kind of engagement would go a long way. Also, it’s pretty obvious that many of the recent 5-star reviews are fake or bot-generated. It makes the whole operation feel less trustworthy. Whether intentional or not, it’s not a good look. I want to come back. I miss enjoying this place. But the way things are going- and the way feedback has been handled- makes it hard to have hope. Please prove...
Read morePretty friendly staff but the prices on the claw machines are overly insane and expensive. Every time my friends and I went (3 times in total), we would have to pay $50 to get the best value out of our buck. The claw machines are pretty to look at, but they are severely rigged and they charge about 15-20 credits per play. We have also noticed the machines got harder and even more rigged during the last 2 times we were there and the staff put in a much bigger, weighed plush to make it even harder to win some Pokemon card packs or any other prizes. It’s also almost impossible to win the kuji prizes there and about 20-22 credits to play their gatcha machines. As for the Labubus, knowing that they are widely known popular collectibles, they are now charging $60 a ticket for a random either Labubu or Crybaby from a mystery stack of packets.. which is price gouging with how popular it is (at its finest), so keep that in mind.
Come here if you want to waste your hard earned $ and support a price gouging facility and possibly.. maaaybe win 1 or 2 cheap knockoff prizes, or spend a hefty amount just for a random Labubu or Crybaby mystery box. Orrrr if you’re just bored and have $ to spend just for the heck of it. It really does take the fun and enjoyment...
