So I typically have Jeff do my nails, however, after starting nursing school I had to opt for shorter, more simple nails. I have never had an issue with this salon but my experience today lead me to leave this review. I walked in to get a refill and I was assigned a guy that was at the first table to the left of the store. I asked him if the girl that at table two to the right of the store was available as she initially did my nails the first time. He then stated that no, she was not here. I proceeded to sit down to allow him to refill my nails. I asked him if he would be able to clean around my nails Because what I've noticed now, a lot of techs are just placing nails on their customers and not actually cutting the cuticles off with the nails. He then stated that I would have to add a Mani to my my refill. I asked how much would that cost because they do not have their price list up at all. He completely ignored me. While he was refilling my nails he was really rough with my hands and he was rushing, to the point where I told him you did not properly clean under my nails, nor did you file my nails properly. Meanwhile, as he is doing my nails, I see the lady who initially did my nails come from the back, and she sits at her table. I confronted him about it and he stated that he thought was talking about someone else. I left the conversation there, and he proceeded to finish with my nails. After he rushed to finish my nail, my nail the shaping of the nail look wide compared to when I first got it done. Afterwards it came time to pay. I found it astounding that my total for a REFILL came out to $80, which was more than the initial placement. I then questioned the price breakdown and requested a manger and he became snippy and questioned me why I was questioning the price breakdown. I then took the pic of the price break down. And then he called the girl over that initially did my nails and questioned her about the last payment I made when I first got my nails done. Ofc she would agree with him. My issue with this establishment is that they don't show a list of their prices so you aren't aware of the prices of the services you are getting. I believe the tech price gouged me in hopes of him making additional profit. Again I have no problem paying as I would spend hundreds with Jeff prior, but I will not be returning as I felt the tech created his own price. Here are photos of when I initially got it done versus what I got done today and the price break down of what he...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATE: I absolutely adore Tiffani and she is a wonderful nail tech but after my most recent experience I will not be returning as I do not agree with the business practices. One week ago I got dip powder done with Ricky. He was friendly but cut a lot of corners. He soaked off a majority of the nail and left the clear powder and old tip from my original manicure 5 weeks prior which caused my nails to chip that very night. They were so weak and detaching from the tips and a chipped off that same night. I called the next day and asked to get it fixed they said it was okay and I asked if it would be free and the gentleman I spoke with said yes. I planned to come in Sunday and come Sunday they were closed. So I messaged them on Instagram asking to come on my next day off and they said that would be ok. Fast forward to today, Iām scheduled with Tiffani and she takes a look at the condition theyāre in and asks if I would like to do another set and what I heard as FIFTY percent off so I agreed. It turns out she said 15% and she confirmed the total (only a week later) would be $47?? I disagree to this because I just got them done a week ago and had photos of the damage done just a day later not due to my abuse of my nails. She spoke with her boss and she agreed to lower it to $40 but i refused as I was just here a week ago and shouldnāt have to pay full priced for another set within ONE week. I wouldāve gladly paid 50% and tipped but due to the lack of consideration I will not be returning. Tiffany is a great nail tech however be wary of who you may be booked with because if they do a not so great job youāll be forced to pay all over again or suffer with terrible nails.
FIRST REVIEW
I stopped getting my nails done for years because I couldnāt find anyone that could shape my nails right. I gave them a try on Motherās Day with Tiffani and she did such beautiful work with my dip mani. It lasted for WEEKS and unfortunately they were on the other side of town so I went some place else and I deeply regretted it as my nails chipped off within that week. I called in today to schedule an emergency appt with Tiffani, and while they donāt usually do same day appts the woman on the phone still kindly offered me a slot today. The quality , cleanliness and customer service is truly 5 Stars āļø
I canāt wait to get my nails...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly the first time I came here I had a great experience and my nails were looking amazing, but today I left so disappointed, I didnāt even tip because I felt like it was such a bad job. For my pedicure I asked for normal, nothing out of the norm, and the guy didnāt even cut my nails or scrubbed the dead skin like they usually do ( He did do a good job on the massage tho; very gentle) When I Showed him what I was looking for for my manicure I think it was miscommunication but he was going to do gel and I said well I canāt do only gel because I know it will come off so they offered to do dip as base and gel for the design but i said that Iāll just do a regular color bo biggie. Normally they set up a towel for you on the table, but he didn't, once again he was just gonna leave my nails super long so I asked him like hey can you cut them? So he did, and then when they he applied the dip it just seems so off to one of the colors I picked and idk my hands are super dry from the polish remover and the last time the lady added like an oil and right at the end they normally apply gel as the top coat and this time he didnāt which I think itās because I told him I do do gel (this is where I think it was miscommunication)ā¦overall Iām not very satisfied. I still recommend the place but Iād recommend making an appointment first before doing a walk in.
A week later my nail...
