This is a great idea in theory- and all the products used were fantastic. My pedicure I chose was the Rose pedicure which cost $56. However bowls they used for the pedicures were not secure so I felt I needed to hold my leg- quite the thigh workout. Additionally the “massage” and “rose warm stone treatment” were very brief. Lastly- although there was a small sign stating the designer polishes- I followed what the receptionist- who was also the owner pointed to. At checkout I was than told I had chosen a designed polish and would be charged an additional $2. When asked the owner she than verified there is only one brand (a very small collection) available that is not the additional charge. As someone who loves pedicures- I am willing to pay more for a quality pedicure. This was not worth the cost.
Update: It’s been 3 years since the last time I’ve tried this location for a pedicure. I wanted to give it another shot since last time I tried it was when they first opened. I picked the “Glow secret” Pedicure. When they first brought my water over it was luke warm at best, so I asked for it to be warmed, cold water was than poured in by mistake, followed by warm water to get it back to the same Luke warm temperature. The women doing my pedicure didn’t understand English at all so it wasn’t worth asking for Warner water like I originally wanted.Unfortunately this set this mood for this pedicure, and the few times I had to ask for something she couldn’t understand me at all. I still think the “bowls” used for the pedicures are not secure and I couldn’t relax my legs at all, they were so tense, and was asked several times during the pedicure so stand up so they could push or pull the chair forward or backwards since they are just dinning room chairs. The products are FANTASTIC! Each step of this pedicure was AMAZING. They no longer charge $2 extra based on what brand you choose which is good at least. Just really wish I could have had some warm water for the pedicure and a way to communicate with My technician during...
Read moreUpdate: I originally wrote this review thinking there was formaldehyde in the nail polish used on me. However, I was mistaken and misread the bottle. Correspondence with the owner assured me there is no formaldehyde in any of the products with full transparency of brand names and ingredients at least on one of the brand bottles. The others I can look up online. The company went one step further and refunded me for the service, which I was very grateful for. I appreciate their commitment to trying to provide the safest nail polish service possible in the industry.
I will leave at 3-star however because of client service in store during visit as well as getting respiratory and sinus symptoms from the strong smell of the nail polish there during and after visit - was surprised how strong this was and symptoms lasted the whole day. Caution if you are sensitive to strong smells.
CAUTION - FORMALDEHYDE IN NAIL POLISH. Read the ingredients in the bottles. Some bottles don’t have the ingredients labeled. Their website touts not having those ingredients, but I think it’s only a few nail polishes. $60 down the drain cause I have to take off for my baby. This chemical DOES get absorb through the nails unfortunately.
Giving three stars instead of 1 cause my nail lady did a nice job. Wish I didn’t have to take off. Also, when I asked the front lady about the natural nail polish. She was not helpful at all. Will not be...
Read moreWalking in we were greeted with a receptionist that didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. That wasn’t a great start to what we were hoping would have been a relaxing way to start our Saturday night.
The store is decorated well and the vibe is nice. They have calm music in the background. The facility was clean. Lots of white and wood.
I’ve never tried an organic nail salon before. This place was unique. You soak your feet in a tub of warm water. The chairs aren’t the typical massage chairs you see at other salons. This wasn’t a problem for me as it was still comfortable. I elected to get the gentlemen’s pedicure which I was told came with a bit extra’s from a scrub and extended massage. Unfortunately, it felt like they were rushing here. My pedicure was complete in ~23 minutes. While I am not an expert, that seemed like they wanted us out or were ready to start closing. It would have been better if they told us they weren’t taking anymore appointments if this was the case.
The service was fine. The technicians were friendly. My massage and scrub didn’t feel that great and what I am used to receiving at other salons.
It’s a cool concept with the organic materials but I probably won’t be...
