Don't think this is going to be a "pop in" store- there is just far too much to see. Filled to the rafters with just about everything you can think of, Objects Found is full of whimsy, memories of yesteryear, knick knacks, treasures and a lot of jolly useful stuff too. With a regular circulation of inventory, they do a great job celebrating the seasons. Christmas is a delight and St Patricks Day is a value add "Scavenger Hunt". Halloween is very special too. You can often hear from people inside the shop "My Grandma used to have one of those". Reggie, the owner is a treat. She has run this business for 28 years and is still passionate about every item and every customer- especially her regular people. She hosts wine and cheese nights and is very generous to the Catonsville community. Come and spend an afternoon catching up with all the different items within the walls and...
Read moreI drop in at Objects Found every month or so because the merchandise changes frequently and it's always fascinating to see what's come in, plus it's just a very friendly place to be. The price was very fair, the service was great, and they connected me to a very good local woodworker who was able to put it in first-class condition. The whole ambiance is fun, low-pressure, and they really encourage browsing (which is perfect for me). Also, they seem to do quite a few benefits for local charities, which is such a great way of giving back. It's just very community oriented. I...
Read moreThe shop has a lot of items and the prices are ok. I am saddened that they felt the need to sale a item that was very offensive. I actually ended up buying it just to get it off the wall so that no one else had to see it and it could be out of circulation. I felt it was the right thing to do. If the store needed money that bad then fine I will buy it. If I owned a store I wouldn't resort to selling such things to make a dollar. I think at some point you have to make a choice and say is it worth it to continue the circulation of racist items? Never the less this item is now headed to the African American museum where it will be displayed along with other racially fueled items that shaped that eras hate. Best 40 bucks I have spent for a step on the...
