The Beauty Bar 402 — Local services in Catonsville

Hate writing bad reviews about local businesses, but was very disappointed in the Beauty Bar’s customer service today. I was given a $100 gift card for Mother’s Day 2 years ago that got misplaced until recently (chaotic toddler mom life). I called to hopefully make a much needed hair appointment and see if they would still honor it, since there is no expiration date on the certificate or on their website that I can find. The front desk checked with the manager who apparently said no. I am really disappointed that they would not honor this or offer even 50%, or anything really. I mean come on - it’s been a little over 2 years, not 5 or 10. And if you are going to put an expiration on your gift certificates, it would be nice to know. Either way, if I were the owner and that was my policy, I would at least offer something. I can tell you that I would be writing a very different review right now. Instead I’m leaving with a bad experience that I’ll be unfortunately sharing anytime BB is brought up and going to call another hair salon to give my business to.
