Little Phoenix — Restaurant in Catonsville

We used to eat here and had wonderful food and service until last night. The food came out cold, rice was cold and sticky, tea wasn't even warm. I know they were close to closing time and the waitress who seldom checked on us, brought all the food out at once. I could tell our meal had been sitting back there as it not only was cold but t had that glaze to it. We sent it back telling the waitress when she did finally come over, that we just wanted to send it back. We weren't hungry any longer but she insisted they make us another one at no charge. We accepted, ate a little of it not bothering to take anything home. She hands me the check and I see she charged us for the meal. She had told us she was taking the meal off the bill and talked us into getting another meal. I assumed she took the meal off. She gets the manager who began telling me how my food, that she didn't even see, was not cold and began to argue with me calling me a liar, calling my 11 year old a liar. I told her I would pay for the egg rolls, but nothing else as the food was far from quality. Even the second meal tasted burnt and the the second round of rice was warmer but still wasn't fresh. Finally she takes the bill, brings it back and starts telling me once again how her food was not cold, etc. my daughter even stated that it was totally unnecessary treatment and she should have stopped after she left our table the first time. The food may have been fresh at first, but because the waitress served the soup, egg rolls and the main meal all at one time, I knew she left our meal sitting in the kitchen way too long because she wanted to go home. We will never go back there! I've never been treated that way by anyone as a paying customer! I deserve hot food and good treatment when dining at a restaurant. And to do all of that in front of my daughter who was horrified by the manager's behavior, was uncalled for! No one else complains because no one is ever in...

I ordered delivery of basil combo with instructions of white meat chicken and jumbo shrimp,no Imushrooms. I was given basil combo with beef. Called and was told meal comes with beef. I have ordered this meal many times over the years and it never came with beef. I asked that another meal be made with white meat chicken,jumbo shrimp no mushrooms and no beef. Second delivery arrives and meal has mushrooms and beef. I called and was told this is not possible because she "told the chef no beef no mushrooms". So not only has my meal been delivered twice incorrectly but now I must be fabricating a story because obviously I have to much time on my hands. I was told to bring up the food for a refund. Shameful service. Very disappointing because my family love the food. I will no longer order from Little Phoenix which is sad as I love to support a local business. Saturday August 5th,2023 @ 7:55pm

I forgot to mention the first delivery another meal was incorrect also. I ordered Szechuan string bean with white chicken meat (3.00 extra). The order came without any chicken.

I would think with several mistakes made by the restaurant they would have been more accommodating and eager to make things right. I understand mistakes happen,but telling me it is impossible my second delivered meal did not have mushroom or beef...calling me a liar is completely unacceptable. Little Phoenix do better for your Catonsville patrons...

Let me start off by saying I usually really enjoy the food here but yesterday was horrible. I placed an order online for Shrimp and broccoli, seasame chicken (white meat) and chicken fried rice and 4 spring rolls, all for $54 ($1 up charge for white meat). When I arrived the food was ready but the lady at the front stated that when I chose “white meat” I apparently selected it under my shrimp and broccoli entree and not the sesame chicken one, so she said they didn’t make it white meat. I thought to myself “common sense would know that was for the chicken since you can’t choose white or dark for shrimp) but I said okay because I didn’t feel like arguing about it (also forgot I paid the extra money for the white meat option). My boyfriend doesn’t eat dark meat so he went back in with the food and had them remake it, he said they did try to make him just take the food and said they would give the $1 back but he wanted them to remake it and so they did. So I find it ironic that the entree we had them remake was the one with the worm in it. This is disgusting! I almost feel like it was done on purpose . And we ate all of the fried rice and spring rolls just to find a worm or maggot in the food 🤮 I will not be...
