I brought a couple of items to see if they would accept yesterday. The lady stated that she would look at them for pricing as long as no one walked into the store. The exersaucer was purchased from paisley park for my granddaughter about 4 months ago. Sheâs not at my house often so it wasnât a daily used item. The lady examined it and said they wouldnât accept it because it was stained. I bought it from them in that condition! Perhaps their scrutiny is stricter now that more people are bringing items to turn in. I understand that they are trying to only get the nicer items for the store but I didnât appreciate the attitude that went along with the sorry we canât accept it. I think they accept things based on whatâs needed/sells for the store. I was a loyal customer and raved about the store to my friends and co workers and also felt good about helping a local company but I WILL NOT be back nor will I recommend it again. Itâs not about the ârejectionâ but the attitude and âhave a nice dayâ yelled at me as I was leaving the store that did it. I felt like she thought I was trying to get away with something so off to goodwill my items went. Some people are not meant to deal with the public and she is definitely one of them! Some items are near or cheaper new off of...
Read moreBoth website & Facebook page stated what they were taking in & so I went. Right away I'm told she will only take St. Patrick's day & Mardi Gras & pack n plays. I asked about the items listed on the site/facebook & she said NO they are all full of those items & so I decided to see for myself. There's 1 rack of clothing for 3 size ranges & not even a dozen things in my kid's size, no dresses at all, not the first piece of winter gear or uniforms & I didn't see any shoes so I'm stumped about them being "full". The items I brought in were all current in season, most of them never even worn & considering there was barely anything for sale in those sizes, I imagine had they taken 2 minutes to look at what I brought they might have considered helping me. But the lady didn't even bother with it. Needless to say I walked away more than disappointed & won't be back to sell or buy anything. I don't get what all the hype is about. Why would I drive clear across town to look at a couple of used overpriced items when I could drive to Metairie where the resale shops are packed with good deals and they'll buy whatever I have that's in...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would. To sell is a complete RIP OFF! I brought at least 200-300 worth of things(bassinet, sit up chair, rocking sleeper, new breast pump, a $400 Joovy twin play pin, 4 totes of clothes, boys barely used Nike shoes) plus a brand new dock a tot I paid $180 for and what did I get?! 63 bucks!? I saw a used dock a tot in the store selling for $90!!!! For what they are selling their items for itâs a complete insult to moms that paid a fortune for these items(especially in barely used or new condition)! I would have made more money selling at a garage sale! Itâs not like I pictured getting even half of what I paid for these things, obviously. And what they donât âacceptâ they offer to donate to havens shelter! Which is awesome, but then I thought about it! She must be using all the âdonationsâ she doesnât accept as a tax write off! Even more devious! Will not be getting any more business from my family or...
