Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Houma

Terrible first I order a porter house stake medium rare and bake potato and house salad . My wife ordered your Burger and fries along with a blooming onion for a appetizer. Waitress never checked on why our food wasn't coming not attentive to our needs she didn't even ask if we need a drink refill. When our food never came out and especially when my salad didn't come out nor my wife's appetizer came out either. Finally after a hour of waiting of our order not showing up I inquired . Manager came to the table he acted arrogant and just.said well take care of it. After a hour and a half finally got meal but not blooming onion my wife ordered as a appetizer and my salad didn't come .so basically I paid for a meal that took a hour and a half to get then I got a blooming onion and salad that was suppose to be appetizers but because they came after our plates were served they were no longer appetizers and got left on table. My wife's burger wasn't cooked so they had to send it back so she had to watch me eat for another thirty minutes why she waited once again for her meal. My stake was unevenly cooked some part well done other parts medium rare but because we done went through so much already I just ate the medium rare part and threw away the rest. On top of everything that happened I get up this morning to look at my credit card and was over charged twice in which I'm contacting my bank about and contacting better business bureau about . If I could of gave a 0 star I would . Worst meal experience I ever had terrible management, terrible waitress , and well the chef if you can't cook a hamburger then you're certainly not a chef or even just a cook for that matter. Overpriced and just very downhill from what they used to be. The Houma location is one of the most awful Outbacks you can go to. Figured I’d give them one LAST try, but it’s still as bad as it’s been for many years now.

Asked for the Filet Mignon (which seemed pricy but I wanted to try it), and it was WAY too seasoned. As it is I deal with high blood pressure problems sometimes, and my body STILL feels dehydrated and begging for mercy hours after eating this food. Seasoning used was not even good, and it tasted like a pot roast- and the sad thing is I could’ve made a better pot roast than this filet mignon for much LESS at home if that’s what I wanted.

I ordered Aussie fries and a salad on the side, the server suggested bacon and cheese added, and I added this to the fries. When I tell you that these fries were practically glued together and tasted horrible, it was unfathomably bad. The fries looked and tasted like they went heat this in the microwave with no care. Flavor was foul and I hated even eating the few that I tried.

Me and my friend split a bill of $100 and in my opinion for what we received it was a heavily disappointing experience. This was my last try, and instead of returning to Outback, I’m going to Backout and never COME back. Texas Roadhouse across the street is MUCH better quality of food and a greater value than this garbage establishment, and the only reason Outback received my money today was because Texas Roadhouse wouldn’t open until 3:00 PM and we were trying to eat for 1:00 PM.

The only thing I can say is that the server was very kind, and none of this is her fault, but on the kitchen’s quality control. She was the only highlight of the experience. 0/10 DO NOT go here, you’re...

EDITED NEW! 7-19-24 Me & my sister went at 1pm it was a very pleasant atmosphere! Waitress, Rachel, was EXCELLENT! Very attentive and very kind & friendly! Our food was HOT! FRESH! DELICIOUS!! I LOVE going to Houma’s Outback!! I always enjoy the food and the service!! I recommend, stopping here!

5-18-24 Had another very delicious meal!! Excellent food and Ronnie was an excellent and attentive waiter!! Super nice and patient! Atmosphere was good. Except the music was a little too loud. But everything else was SUPER GREAT!! I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO STOP IN EAT & ENJOY! 😁

Great food! Great service! 5 of us were there and we all enjoyed our meal and Morgan was an excellent very friendly and attentive waitress!! Definitely will go back again!

Excellent!!! I Ordered curbside. I ordered the Toowoomba Salmon. Double broccoli and All i can say is….. IT WAS PERFECT!!! DELICIOUS and I enjoyed it! They always do a GREAT JOB!!
