At first, this was a great gym with a great staff. It was awesome that a gym would let minors participate and get healthy. Over time, I've been let down, sometimes by the gym, others by fellow members. I have had several occasions where I had a run-in with fellow members and they're complete ignorance to one's privacy. I have watched several people video taping, or talking to someone via video call, while pointing the camera at someone else, usually women. I did point this out a couple of times to staff and saw nothing of it. What really irked me was when they took photos and video in the locker room. Some of those same members loved to hog machines in the 30min Circuit room. Just sitting there, talking on their phone. As far as the gym itself is concerned, there are many issues, almost all of which I have brought up to staff. First the filthiness of the locker room/bathroom. It always smells like a urinal in the men's room. Water is always all over the sink and counter. The staff changes on a daily basis, it seems like. And if they're working late, they almost sleep at the check-in counter. One thing I really disliked was the fact I paid for a Black Card membership that allows using the massage area or tanning booth. I paid a premium for this service. However, anyone who asked to use those areas was typically allowed to without checking for a Black Card status. I could have paid for the basic membership and just used the same services because no one checked. Lastly, the fact that they tell you that by paying for the Black Card membership gives you the ability to use ANY PF location is very misleading. They place in the fine print that once you visit another location 10x in a 30day period could cause you to be charged a second membership fee. I live very close to 3 locations and had to watch my visit count to other locations to avoid that. And for the love of god, when I do visit another location they bombard you, very annoyingly, "Wanna make this your home gym." Man, I just wanna work out.

Read moreI see a lot of reviews saying that they don't care about their members and what not but then again its a lot of people who don't speak up. The staff aren't mind readers. If you don't inform them and point out the person on their cell phone of course they're not going to do anything about it because there is nothing they can do unless you identify that person so they can speak to them. And same thing with the people making noise. If you have a problem with a certain person, Go to the desk and POINT THE INDIVIDUAL OUT. Every person I had a problem with I pointed them out and the staff immediately took care of it. It's not the front desks fault. They aren't babysitters, they can't monitor every individual that walks in. And as for the contracts you can choose what membership you want they do not force you. They let you know about the contracts BEFORE you sign up. And after the contract is up you can cancel without having to pay a $60 fee but you still get billed month to month because its a membership not just a one year membership. Until YOU CANCEL you're still going to get billed. And there is even a membership without one sooo... And for those who are mad because they get billed even when they don't go to the gym are ridiculous. That's like going on vacation then coming home and telling the cable guy "Hey so I wasn't home for a few weeks so I didn't use my TV so I need that money back" NO. They are month to month billing doesn't matter if you use it or not. And besides what's the point of having a GYM membership if you're not going to use it then complain about getting billed because you don't use it. I've been going to this gym for a while now and I've never had a problem. The staff are always friendly, caring to the customers needs and are always making sure the gym is clean. And with memberships, ASK QUESTIONS. When I signed up I made sure I knew what I was signing up for and since then I don't...
Read moreAt this location. They let all sorts of riffraff come in without memberships. People buy one membership and bring all their friends and family. Kids and teenagers stand around machines posing goofing around tying up equipment. People destroy the equipment and steal the batteries from the remote controls. It's so pathetic. At night homeless people sleep in locker room and the massage chair area. I went to use the massage chair one night and a homeless person had a whole buffet of food spread out all over the chairs. Workers don't check for memberships at night. They let anyone in. I always catch them sleeping. I like going to the gym late at night. This way I could get through my workout quick. This is the reason I started a membership there. It's because it's a 7/24-hour gym. But they're getting ready to change March 11th. So, I guess I'll be canceling my membership soon. I'll go to Anytime Fitness. I should have dropped my membership a long time ago.
So, the manager replies to my review. Blaming the members, basically blaming me. When he's the problem. If he not would hire competent people to manage that lobby and make sure that people that are coming in are actually members and that they're not coming in with a gang of people and only one membership. Which I know is not allowed and if they control the homeless people from coming into the facility without memberships and eating in the lounge area and watching TV like it was their living room or using the locker room like it was their bathroom at home. I've been a member for a long time. This stuff happens there all the time, and it's correctable, with the proper management of your employees. Need to direct your corrective...
