Retro City Games — Attraction in Enterprise

Review Update 4/29/25: The owner has done a positive step in making this issue right. Although I wish we had gone with a different resolution as I want to help support these retro videogame stores. To be honest Retro City Games is one of the nicest I have visited (I even mentioned this to one of the clerks), which is why I spent nearly $100 on this store. I will remember this and make sure to visit again when we're in Nevada. Have a good day

Original Review: BE CAREFUL WHEN SHOPPING HERE. ALL SALES ARE ESSENTIALLY FINAL. I wanted to exchange a guide I got just minutes ago so I can get the 3 guides for $25 discount. But they wouldn’t help me with that. Beware of how this store operates and make absolutely sure of what you’re buying because they will not be helping you unless it’s defective (and they said strategy guides can never be defective). They said “READ THE POLICY AT THE END OF THE RECEIPT” but guess what, once you get the receipt, you’ve already purchased the items. A shady way of doing business. They never disclosed this information before finalizing the purchase. Once again, BEWARE and make sure you know what you’re doing because they offer no flexibility...

While i wish trade in values for games were higher, thats just the business model. I've been to all 3 of their locations and they are consistent with 3 things: Variety, Selection, and great customer service.

They carry games, guides, toys, figures, and carrying cases for just about any game system you can think of and what they have for each selection is quite good. There is certainly something for every gamer. And at each location, staff were kind and quick to assist with any questions i had....

I bought a wii mote and a nunchuck from here a while back and when I came home it had problems. First the battery pins were covered in corrosion, I had to clean it myself. Second it would randomly disconnect ruining my game. Third the nunchuck had drift, which I didn't know was even possible. Lastly it just stopped working after I was done playing super mario galaxy. I would love to give a positive review...
