
My story is a little different . first I want to say that I only give credit where it's due. On easter I went and had my hair done at a different place no names. And now I will share my story I am a cancer patient as well as a 3 year survivor this I don't always let people know but after finely get my hair back I wanted to not see the same person in the mirror. To some of you .you might not understand that. When I did the lady ruined my hair I was in tears. Knowing it wouldn't change things being easter weekend with all my faith I started calling places .I called a bunch no answer one never leaving a message. After a long cry and screaming why . my phone rang it was salon 427 a very nice man named Sean called me back now again I didn't leave a message I explain to him what I'm telling you . and I told him I don't have much money and I saved for so long to walk out of somewhere looking like a carrot . my hair was so bad. He told me that even though they were closed he would help me and that he did I got a appt for the Monday after Easter. This man went above and beyond which most don't for someone he didn't know just a crying woman on the other end of the phone. Needless to say when I arrived after work that Monday I greeted with so much warmth and a beverage. While I waited I was shown around and also given a massage. Hands down I will say this is a place that is not out to just cut your hair and be done .they work as a team and listen Sean was great and with all my heart this is truly a man I would never forget. Now my stylist was amazing I told her what happen and she did everything thing to correct it because so much damage was done I could not achieve what I wanted but she explain to me that it would ruin my hair . she is young but so full of life and great as well her name is Lourdes my heart gos out to such caring people . these people take classes each week to learn more then they already know so far this is my second time there still fixing a mess . but its a great experience. And such a lovely place. Hands down the best customer satisfaction I have ever had . I'm young and have fought with cancer since 2005 but they made me feel special again and for that words can not explain just how much I appreciate Sean and Lourdes for everything. They transform a sad over worked mom and me feel beautiful again I can't thank this salon enough for this. I am still fighting with breast cancer but I have my hair to a lot of you .you might think it's just hair .no it's not .cause when you loose it that's takes away alit mire then your hair it takes away who you were. So from the bottom of NY heart I thank you Sean for taking time to call me and listen tobabsad upset person but with so much compaction . you are truely what they call a life saver. And Lourdes bibdont know how I could thank you enough for everything. If what you want is a place that is not bout the money and cares about making you feel whole or walk out looking beautiful then this is it. I will be a long time customer from now on.    Read moreI was lucky to meet the salon owners at a local restaurant. They were very nice people, and I decided to visit the salon and to try their services. WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE! Not only is Salon 427 a Paul Mitchell Professional Salon (I have been using these products purchased at retail for years), the floor layout and decor is modern and sophisticated but not gaudy and flashy or loud. Exactly what I want when I visit a salon. After being a client for about a year, i can report that the entire salon staff is ALWAYS well dressed, friendly, caring, and professional yet FRIENDLY. They really DO care about my experience with them, and it could not be better. From the parking lot, to the exterior storefront, to the well designed and appointed waiting area, to the complimentary infused water and healthy snacks, I felt welcomed and comfortable. From the waiting area, it was but a few short steps to the operator's chair. After confidentially discussing my hair design wishes, my health, my diet, and the products I was using, I was escorted to a very comfortable reclining chair in the dark and silent 'WASH HOUSE' where I received an absolutely wonderful shampoo, rinse, and dry experience while I viewed a relaxing video accompanied by serenity-inducing audio. Gently escorted back to the operator's chair, my hair was snipped, razored, layered, trimmed shortened, and generally made not just presentable but very fashionable. After receiving information from the operator on how to recreate this look each day, and what products would help produce the desired results depending on the varying Florida weather, I was escorted back to the 'WASH HOUSE' for finishing shampoo, rinse, and conditioner, followed by a HOT TOWEL facial, which simply could have gone on much longer that it did. WOW - what great relaxation!! Back to the chair for a final comb out and styling, some more instruction on how to retain the excellent style on a daily basis, and a few finishing touches of pomade or spray, all Paul Mitchell or MITCH products. Payment and scheduling my next appointment (on my schedule, not necessarily their frequency to pump up my bill - which they NEVER attempted to do) completed my visit. I felt I was leaving a safe, friendly, comfortable place and then being dumped back into the real world. Knowing the joyful experience I had just been through, I felt completely confident that I could stand up to life's challenges until my next salon visit in six weeks. I'm a classy senior gentleman who enjoys the better things in life, and I highly all of the operators and the experience at Salon 427. If you enjoy being treated as a friend, not as a number, AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE, make an appointment at Salon 427. I believe you will enjoy your experience. I Had my granddaughter help me with this as I don't often pay online complements; however felt that it was warranted. Thanks Salon 427.

   Read moreI like to write really comprehensive reviews so this is going to be kinda long, but I hope it helps someone! So I just loved to Spring Hill and because I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to someone doing my hair (previous terrible haircuts can be traumatic!) So it was really struggling. All one length, really long, and a bad ombre from previous color and new.hair growth. The first thing I noticed is how awesome the receptionist was. She has a very sweet demeanor and instantly makes you feel more at ease. She took me on a tour of the facility and I could tell by talking to her how much she genuinely likes her job and the people at it which is really refreshing! She even grabbed me a complimentary glass of wine, how could anyone say no to that!
So after the tour I met my stylish Sarah who was SO sweet and understood how anxious I was about the whole thing. We sat together for a while just talking and picking out hair colors and talking about styles. She took her time with everything and I really felt she cared about my opinion of everything. Actually, I know she did because when I looked uncomfortable about the way the color turned out she immediately went and got her supervisor who was amazing and suggested is just needed a little bit more of a punch. By this time the store had closed so she told me to come in the next day and that she would do it herself, no charge. She also spent time with Sarah showing her some cool techniques to use with a haircut like mine. I was nervous about coming in the next day and felt like I was being too high maintenance but everyone was very reassuring that all they want it for me to feel confident and happy with the style. The day next when I walked it I was even greeted with a hug from the receptionist and we just got to sit there and chat like friends inbetween her checking in people which was really nice. And because it was Saturday they brought out a mimosa! Omg!
So overall, the most important thing to me is that as soon as they recognized I wasnt completely happy they went above and beyond to change that. I'm still shocked and not used to anyone doing that. I'm so happy to have found a great Salon here in Spring Hill and won't let it be another 2 years before...
