Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Florida

So I took the time to go back to Popeyes in Spring Hill Florida on Commercial way. This was on August the 5th 2025 at approximately 5:00 for starters had the best time ever waiting in line to get chicken they were slammed big orders people coming in the lobby and not ordering one or two things I ordered 30 40 $50 worth at a time the young lady who is taking orders never missed a beat never dropped the smile she got everybody talking in the lobby you know everybody's waiting on chicken and nobody cared I mean we're waiting 15-20 minutes some longer but the atmosphere that she provided was completely worth waiting on the chicken when it was ready was hot fresh the gentleman back there cooking the chicken did an excellent job I mean he was working it and the store except for the drink station out front now working the store was cleaning organized and people would walk through the door and they shake their head you know and I would go no no no don't leave fresh chicken in about 5 to 10 minutes you know when people were just coming in waiting and like I said the girl taking orders never missed a beat I was second to the last out I let people go ahead of me because I wasn't in a hurry everybody walked out of there happy I was happy and I'm not easy to please so thank you very much to the members of management and the team that was working on Tuesday I believe August 5th y'all did an amazing job you were slammed nobody missed a beat nobody got upset and the young lady running the register she deserves some special treatment because she handled everything beautifully and did I mention the chicken was just as good the next day and that's after having to drive all the way back to Homosassa y'all did good I'd show some of the chicken but sorry we ate it all and I have to say it might have been awake but it was absolutely worth waiting for so many people were coming...

We ordered the "Surf and Turf" combo meal from a great big picture on their drive through menu (I have pictures). It states that it comes with a sandwich, pop corn shrimp, a side, a buiscut and a drink for $7.45. There is no mention on the menue of specific dates. We received everything except the sandwich. When we went inside, the assistant manager was very huffy and said, "That meal doesn't come with a sandwich, it never has come with a sandwich and never will come with a sandwich! Look on your receipt. That's all it comes with!" She was a white shorter woman with short hair and looked like she weighed maybe 175 pounds. I didn't get her name. We said we were confused then because we were sure it was pictured with a sandwich and the ad stated it came with one. She said angrily, "Just because it's pictured with a sandwich doesn't mean it comes with one." We went back around to the drive through to make sure, then were walking back to the door to the lobby to wait again to talk to her. As we were passing by the drive through window we heard her yelling at us through he window. We thought that was really unprofessional because she had a car threre with a customer in front of her. She started raising her voice at us again and said, "That deal doesn't start untill the 8th HONEY. You get exactly what's on your receipt and nothing more!" I didn't like that she confronted me loudly with sexual harassment in front of another customer. I said to her, "Don't call me honey. It's unprofessional." She yelled, "I'm not being unprofessional. Your the rude one. Don't harrass me any more about your order." I asked if I could have the general manager's name and number. She answered, "NO, he would just tell you the...

If this could go in the negatives I would give it a negative 2 starts . I never write a review . I usually move on with my life . But this one really is annoying me for all the mistakes from every staff member in the building. But I haven’t been to a Popeyes in over a decade and I go to this one off 19 in Spring Hill and I wonder why it’s always empty. First of all the lady who was taking the order at the drive threw was rushy and rude no total till I got to the window to pay.I order Two combo meals which when I got to the window was expensive.Then i hand the cashier 25 bucks because the total was 20 and some change. And he hands me our meals in the bags while mumbling something with no drinks and just stares at me like I was supposed to drive off and the transaction was over.I ask for my change and drinks the first time and he says I only gave him 20 dollars no news on the drinks.That would still mean that I would owe him money, right? Basic math. So his argument doesn’t make sense for the total of the transaction. No apology or recognition. He gets the manager who has just as horrible customer service skills acting like I’m the wrong one and not her employee with no apologizing for anything and reluctantly is getting ready to give me my change still with no drinks that I asked for again. So I give up and give them back the food and ask for a full refund. Horrible experience, a joke of Basic customer service skills and bad staff who can’t count money.
