So all my experiences here have been wonderful except today .I've heard stories from coworkers and read the other comments here about the "security guar".Today I went to return a item with a receipt.A young girl kept scanning my receipt and the items saying they don't match up .She then looked around and waived down Mr .Tuff guy the security guard. He came over and first explained that the name of the objects were correct and the prices matched however if the register doesn't except it ,she can't return the items ...By now I'm furious that this girl has waived down the security guard as if I was doing something wrong .His disgusting more than godly attitude is definitely not acceptable.I asked for both of their names and for a supervisor. He radio for a Lead .Kathy came over chewing her gum like a cow ,not even interested. So when I asked if she was the supervisor, she said yea .I asked why is the security guard called when I tried to return my items .She said he can override things at the register. As I'm talking to her the young lady behind counter hands me a gift card ..I then said aloud didn't you all just say you couldn't return it .I never asked for the gift card. It should not have been up to the cashier and security guard if I chose to just keep the items or get credit. I took pictures of the items and told them I was going in the isle to check .Same items ,same upc..As I go to leave the guard is staring me down smirking and laughing. After a call to customer care and a conversation with a supervisor...Mr security seems to just be a cocky Target employee who probably couldn't cut it as a real officer of the law.Nothinh but a shirt with a sheild . No security guard license (cuz I asked him) no name tag stating who or what his job is as stalks people through the store .Please target ,I love you guys but Walmart seems to be doing a hell of a ...
Read moreTarget is a great alternative to the other budget shopping experiences. The other (non Target) stores in the area are not nearly as nice.
On this day, we found the store bright and clean with the shelves fully stocked. There were many employees around to help us, and several of them greeted us warmly. Considering retail shopping is starting to get hectic with the holiday season, it was nice to see so many friendly (if masked) Target employees.
Since we were doing our own Christmas shopping, we visited many of the departments within the store including electronics, toys, beauty, groceries and pet food. We were able to find everything we needed and do so much needed comparisons of video games.
The check out lines were a bit longer than they normally are for 11 am during the week. However, there were multiple registers open. Additionally, a woman was helping to direct customers to the shortest lines. Consequently, we did not spen very long in line.
The cashier was also friendly and her wild hair colors matched her outgoing personality.
Overall, we had a great time shopping here. I just wish the parking lot was a little less hectic. The best move is to park at the far end of the lot and walk in. Not only do you get a little exercise, but you reduce the likelihood of some smashing...
Read moreSomething happened today at the store. I was at the store looking for a book for my son. While I was there I noticed there was a book on one of the shelves that was on sale for $2.49. I took the book and took a picture of the price on the shelf and headed to the front register. When the cashier rings the price on the book it shows $31, I told him that was the incorrect price and I showed him the picture that I took with my phone. Then he went to customer service and the girl there told him not to honor the price I saw. I said okay never mind, I’m not getting the book anymore. So I paid for the other item I had with me. When I was going towards the exit door, the girl in customer service looked at me up and down with an attitude. I told her that I don’t think that was right. They should have gave me the book for the price I saw back there. She said well we can’t do that. With a whole attitude. I know for sure if it was a white woman, they would have given it to her. I know a racist...
