I am a student in my second year of medical school to become a DC (doctorate of chiropractic), and I came to Atlanta to finish my program. Prior to arriving, I contacted several RV parks, and Sweetwater Creek seemed like the perfect fit for all my needs. The previous manager (Angie) helped me settle in and was very professional. After she learned that I am a struggling student, she offered for me to clean the bathrooms during the week in place of paying rent, and of course I accepted this opportunity. During my time there and under her management, there were no complains, and the owner of the property was aware of my agreement and even spoke to me in person about it long before there were any issues. Then, for whatever reason, the manager (angie) decided to resign. I approached the new manager and asked if he wanted for me to continue cleaning the bathrooms, and I was rudely informed "NO, thats not happening" the next day 09/09/21, I received a letter from the owner telling me to either pay $750 ( which is $28.50 more than I should have had to pay to begin with according to their price for a 30-amp RV), or to vacate to property by 09/15/21. I chose to vacate this property. Just within the few short days that I remained at this location after the new manage took over, it had already begun to turn into a hell hole. The bathrooms were dirty and smelly, and several other guest at the RV park approached me and asked "why aren't the bathrooms clean?" My only answer was "I am not cleaning the bathrooms anymore." On top of that, but the new management, various guest began playing their music loudly at night with no reprocussion and something were stolen out of the back of my vehicle. Prior to this new management, I was very happy at this place and so was everyone else I knew. It was safe, it was peaceful and it was managed perfectly, but now it has changed and I seriously doubt it will be the same again. I would not recommend staying here, especially for this outrageous price, or with this incompetent...

Not only did he welcome us with a smile, but he also took the time to familiarize us with the local area, providing valuable information about nearby grocery stores and restaurants. His kindness and willingness to assist made us feel right at home. As pet owners, we were delighted to find that our furry companion was also welcomed to at this RV park. The property offered plenty of opportunities for leisurely walks, and our dog absolutely loved exploring the surroundings. The peaceful ambiance and beautiful natural setting provided the perfect backdrop for our relaxing strolls together. During our stay, we encountered a storm that resulted in brief power outages. However, Jonathan the property manager quickly sprang into action. He promptly notified us about the situation and reassured us that he had already contacted Georgia Power to address the issue. His proactive communication and attentiveness to our comfort and safety were truly commendable. While it's important to note that this RV park is not a resort, I was well aware of this fact before making my reservation. Nevertheless, the serene atmosphere and superb customer service more than made up for any absence of extravagant amenities. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this RV park to anyone seeking a peaceful and secluded retreat near Atlanta. The genuine hospitality of the property manager, coupled with the tranquil surroundings, created an unforgettable experience. I certainly intend to return on my future visits...

This is an end site so we were able to position our trailer a little more to the drivers side. The shared water spouts, shore power boxes and sewer spots are located to the far back passenger side. Make sure to bring additional electric, water and sewer connections. Upon arrival, red ant hills became an immediate problem. I was attacked badly. We stopped setting up to make a trip to Home Depot for ant killing products and first aid treatments. I highly recommend having these products ready. The campground seemed to be more for permanent locals. Some of the sites where rundown and not maintained. If you are looking for a 1 - 2 night stay, with close access to Atlanta then this might work for you. No thrills camp spot. |The staff is great with communication and making sure campers understand the need for additional hook-up equipment. Check-in was easy, we just went right to our spot. We appreciated the great communication with Jonathan. Our travels to the area were following hurricane Helene. He made sure access to the campground could accommodate our 26 ft travel trailer. The main entrance was flooded and impassable. He gave us an option to use the narrow and tight turn route or receive a FULL refund. We opted to continue with our plans to arrive. No issues for us, using the back entrance. The next day the main entrance reopened. Absolutely appreciate...
