Read moreThis place has a lot of history so I have always had love for this theater for nostalgia reasons... I remember seeing the original Lion King there 26 years ago.... And I love that they play old movies too.... However this theater is in serious desperate need of some upgrades. I recently saw the new Top Gun movie there (which was absolutely incredible) but sadly after that extremely uncomfortable experience I'm sad to say I will not be returning until they make some improvements there. The seats are sooooo crammed in there... I get that there is no gap in between seats but that's why a lot of theaters out there have the wider seats so you don't feel like you have a complete stranger in your lap during the entire movie... Not to mention the awkwardness of fighting over an armrest. I had to sit in such weird positions and my body was so uncomfortable... My friend that went with me said the same thing. Other theaters have the wider more cushioned seats that are electric and recline with foot rests... Some even have heated or AC seats.... Just saying when you have people sitting for 1 1/2 - 3 hours they should be comfortable.... Especially with what you guys charge for concessions nowadays. And if that wasn't enough... I know times are tough right now but what was y'alls thermostat at? 90 degrees??? So many times my friend and I almost got up and left because it was sooo hot!!! Absolutely ridiculous to shove people so close together and make it so hot!!! Trying to save money with the AC is only going to make you lose business in the long run?? It will be worth the drive to a theater in another county next time but I really would love to come back one day. Please update your theater from the 90's to something that is more modern. It's 2022......
Read moreWent to the one in vero beach fl...Started off kinda bad, lady that sold us our tickets had a bad attitude. Then during the movie a kid(about 3 or 4)who was in front of us climbed off of parents lap and began to talk very loudly as well as walk/crawl on the steps and floor ... He had light up shoes which flashed light everywhere disrupting the movie. Had to walk out and tell management and all they did was come in for a minute or two.. not long enough to even see or hear... Never once did they themselves walk up the stairs to see what was going on.. until I got up again and came back and one employee had said something to the parents but you'd think it would have ended there.. nope. The kid began again, then my family and I left to get our money back . Also this movie was a pg13 one.. so you'd assume that little 3 to 6 yr olds wouldn't be there...
We were told that they couldn't tell the parents how to deal with their children as well as this was a child's movie, correct me if I'm wrong but when the movie talks about jerking off a cow and that they had to use both hands to milk it.. it's rated pg13 . This is by no means a child's movie... Also was Told by male manager whom was short and chubby with a goatee that cartoons are for children all cartoons, I guess that heavy metal porno cartoon is for kids, as will as south park is for kids as well. And let's not forget to mention since dead pool was a comic book movie it was for kids as well I would assume.
In this companies code of conduct it states that if someone is being disruptive they would be asked to leave. .. I'm paraphraseing this. So I would have thought this would have been an option but apparently you don't follow your own code of conduct.
My family and I will...
