Celebrity Barbershop Studio — Attraction in Conway

Got a cut here..I was greeted by a gentlemen who has the first chair to the left who seemed to be maybe a manager or owner who was very nice and welcoming and asked me to sign in. The barber I got was not pleasant to sit with. When I sat down I noticed other barbers and patrons with no mask. I asked if i could take mine off he said NO which was not a problem, but 10 minutes in he took his off. I asked for a high fade and that I comb my hair over. He did not know how to cut the top and when I asked the fade to be higher he got upset and had attitude. The cut was $20 and I still tipped $10. Gentlemen then proceeded to thank me like nothing happened and also gave me elbow to elbow. I did not get his name but I know he walks with a limp in his leg. I sat in the middle chair on the right side. I had to get the top of my hair cut again later and fix my fade. I cannot rate this shop solely based on this barbers attitude and horrible customer service skills but I would not recommend that specific barber with a limp in his walk to anyone if you are going to get a hair cut here. (1) fade was not done well, asked for skin fade and felt like it was a one fade. (2) The top he does not know how to trim it down besides combing it to one side and cutting it straight across from the side...

Went to this barbershop because a friend recommended it. I made the appointment online 1 hour and a half before showing up. In most cases, barbers won’t show up on such a late notice but Edwin which was the barber that I was looking to get a haircut with did and that just gave me reassurance that this was the right place to go. The barbershop itself isn’t even officially open yet. Even though the barbershop wasn’t open he still treated me like a valued customer. All I wanted was a fade and the eyebrows done but Edwin went the extra mile to wash my hair and condition it before cutting it and that just made me feel better than most barbershops that just give you the cut and charge extra for those kind of things. Edwin also explained to me that every customer’s haircut includes a hair wash (this is the only barbershop I know that does this, so it’s awesome).

He cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted to and the result was better than I expected. The reason I say this is because my hair is hard to tame and most barbers that I go to, especially the new ones, have a problem styling it but he was very professional and did it perfectly in a timely manner. Best haircuts I have ever had! Literally every single barber cuts amazing these people are ARTISTS!! Barbershop is nice. Service is amazing. Only issue I have is none of the barbers wear mask or wear it on their chin exposing their mouth and/or nose and I had to take mine off leaving me with no protection and scared for my life lol and other barbers or people coming to talk with your barber also with no mask. (Chairs are a bit too close as well so if person next to you has no mask while getting a haircut) I know some people don’t believe in the virus or the mask is bothers them but being a professional for everyone’s safety it should be part of customer service and a MUST. Most of these barbers are family men and should protect themselves not only for them but so they don’t spread to their family or clients. They see and are in contact with numerous clients daily and have no idea who can have COVID. Guys I had COVID and I didn’t even know I had it until it was too late and had been in contact with MANY people without knowing. Please protect yourselves, your family, your clients, and clients families. Please wear a mask. Only constructive criticism. You guys have the BEST barbershop please...
