If I could leave no stars for this business I would for the way I was treated at the Tampa TCG Con this past Sunday. I simple asked for $5 off on a $15 card because of some of its imperfections, also the fact that we were at a convention with tons of vendors with the same product, I figure haggling would be ok. Instead of being countered offered or just simply saying, no that's to low of an offer. The guy in blue turned to his manager and asked if it would be okay to do a rip sale. Which in turn, the manager said yes, so the dude in blue proceeded on tearing the card in half, right in front of me. Now I know he had the okay from his manager to do that and they had plenty of copies of the card they just tore so it doesn't effect them much, but the idea that you could go so low an doing such a thing in front of someone who is trying to make a purchase at your booth just tells me a lot about that about TOAMagic and their management. I would not buy from them, sale to them, visit there home shop, or even visit there booth at any other convention they may be at. I don't know why they think public humiliation is funny or even the right thing to do in that situation but I would just like to warn the public about the experience I received so people can know how they do business and the games they like to play. GO RIDDANCE TOAMagic!!!

This shop is one of the best in the area. They offer the service of sending in comics to CGC for grading, in addition to their quite large space of comics to browse through. As an added organizational bonus, their many bargain bins are labeled as ,,Marvel, DC, Independentā€ which helps narrow The Search. There’s also a bargain section that’s triple-color coded —$1//$3//$5.

Did business with these amazing guys here at the Ft worth Convention center, we were given their full attention as we sold our cards (for the fairest of prices around)

Most of the negative reviews seem to be about the same female employee. Yesterday my brother and I were shopping in the store. We grabbed dice and looked through some of the magic singles they have in discount boxes. My brother put a small empty box in between the cards we were looking through to not lose our place and to ensure the cards are put back properly and she came over with a nasty attitude and shoved the box away saying she needed that for PokĆ©mon cards. So we put the cards back, put the dice back, and walked out. This is not the first time she has given attitude. My first time visiting I was given attitude asking if they accepted Klarna in store, I let it slide. The next was another visit asking if we could look through the singles box at one of the tables (which other shops have let us do), she was nasty about it. Our last visit in the store before this one, they messed up my brother’s online order and she gave him attitude about it. This was my last straw, I’m not going to be disrespected and treated so poorly when I come into a store to spend money. So I re-entered and asked the employee why is it she has to be so rude to my brother and I whenever we shop there. She just looked at me, surprised someone would even question her of that and gives me a snarky, ā€œI’m sorry that YOU feel that way.ā€ I couldn’t even believe she tried to pin her nastiness on me like that, so I said, ā€œYou should be apologizing for your attitude. If you don’t like working with people you should get another job.ā€ With that I left and reached out to the owner. With all the negative reviews I see about this store, that employee is the common issue, so instead of doing the right thing and reprimanding the employee he has decided to ban my brother and I from the store. We’ve spent hundreds in this store in the last few months on cards and supplies. This last visit we were going to spend close to $150. Even with that, he chooses to let this employee get away with negative behavior. I had no intention of ever going back after this experience but now with the owner’s actions I’m just going to be sure everyone knows how poorly they treat customers with screenshots and what happened with my experience.

Sidenote: They’re overpriced, I went to them out of convenience if the better shops in the area didn’t have what I was looking for. Now I’ll just be patient and wait for orders from TCG Player if the better local shops...

Everytime I shop here, I spend money. But also the girl behind the counter has the worst attitude and always has some snarky thing to say to people. I stopped in today to look at some Magic singles and pick up some dice and she gave attitude about me going through the cards, so I put the cards I was planning on buying back and put the dice I was going to buy away. $110 I was planning on spending here is going to be spent somewhere else that knows how to talk to people. She's like this everytime I'm here and I'm not the only customer she talks to like this. And when my brother brought it to her attention, she didn't even apologize. This is not how you run a business. Go to JAF, Cloud City, or Mythic for your gaming and comic needs, they treat their customers with respect.

Update: Spoke with the store owner, he doesn't plan to do anything about this and banned my brother and I from the store for leaving negative reviews. So again I cannot stress this enough SHOP ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR GAMING AND COMIC NEEDS AND DO NOT GIVE THESE HEINOUS PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS!

Additional Update: I learned that the rude woman is the owner's wife, which explains why she still works there after continuing to treat people...
