It was standard way too many kids not enough of a variety and was kind of dirty. It was our first time there and we had to ask staff to walk us through what was going on as there was no clear direction.
Edit: I want to provide the clarification that you asked about... When we first walked in there was only a few people in front of us which was great. Those individuals were helped and we stood there for a few moments before someone came over they asked what we wanted and we tried to explain that it was our first time there I understand it was very late at night and they may have been tired but they did not seem to care that we were asking for directive. In regards to the back room that's where there were items on the table my husband actually went and got some napkins to be able to clean the table off so that we could sit down. In regards to lots of kids as I mentioned when we first got there there wasn't a lot of people in front of us but a group came in which was fine but the individuals behind the counter seemed a little overwhelmed I think that there was just a lot going on through the drive through as well as people coming in late at night for some ice cream. I would have just appreciated a little bit more of an explanation on what was ice cream what could be done as far as adding toppings and such because my husband did get something unfortunately I can't remember exactly what it was but he was asked what kind of type toppings he wanted and it wasn't clearly explained what would work in the machine that his stuff had to go through. I did not mean any disrespect I was just giving my honest opinion of my...
Read moreI give The Inside Scoop a four out of five stars because they didn't have Mint Chocolate Chip on the menu, which seems pretty common. But, let me tell you all that they did have, which was a real treat! First, they had some pretty amazing flavors like a Maple-Bacon that was out of this world delicious. Plus, I think I saw a Strawberry Lemonade that I would have loved to try. Second, I was really, really impressed with how methodical they were about customer service during COVID, meaning they had a ground crew out on the premises that would text into the creamery the orders of people lined up in their cars. Their line was highly organized, too, by the way; it made good use of the parking lot and surrounding space. Third, despite the miserably hot conditions and the sheer inconvenience of COVID, the employees were exceptionally happy. In fact, they commented on how happy we were, which made their jobs easier. That comment made me think of how little people appreciate their local creamery and its employees! You mess with something very special when you mess with ice cream employees; they are next to Godly. Lastly, I cannot evaluate inside the facility because COVID wouldn't allow it, but with this incredibly organized and reasonably quick drive through, who needs to go inside? Would I go again? Yes, in a heartbeat. The flavors we tried were delicious: Maple Bacon and Vanilla with Peanut Butter. If you can go, go! You will not be...
Read moreI loved this entire experience. Its got a old school vibe with a kick-butt flavor.
The servers are friendly, and the ice cream is delicious, and I think I may be a customer for life.
The employees are helpful. When we stepped in, there were so many flavors. A sensory overload if you will. Someone answered all of our questions and provided us samples when asked.
I ended up with the peach Melba and jelly Donut flavors. I got both scoops on top of a Belgium waffle.
The jelly donut ice cream, if not for a light, extremely creamy texture, I wouldnt have know I was eating ice cream. The peach melba I felt like I wasn't picking peaches off of a tree and biting into them.
With both flavor melting together on top of my waffle and fudge, it turned into a new more amazing flavor: peach jelly donut. Game changer.
I felt like I was transported in time back to the dinosaurs, and a meteorite of flavor exploded everywhere. Annihilating all other ice cream shops.
The interior reminds me of if a ski lodge and a 1950s Cafe had a love child. Groovey booths and seating from that time period, but the structure is that of a ski lodge. (On the support beams are hilarious dad-jokes)
I would 1000% go back in a heartbeat, and I dont even live anywhere near here. Its going to be a stop every time I drive past it.... even if I'm full... even If I can't walk straight.
10/10 perfect ice cream experience. YOU ARE ALL...
