Recently opened “mom and Pop” in Mexican restaurant. It’s the real deal. I posted pictures of the menu along with the other photos because I couldn’t find any online. Lot easier to order takeout before you get there. Everything was made fresh. We got the chicken tacos And Carnitas tacos. They were very good and reasonable. They didn’t skimp on the filling. The menu does not say it, but the prices for the tacos are for three. We did get nachos, which were good. As much as I resent Mexican food, smothered with cheddar cheese, like the big chains, it does help hold them together and without that it becomes quite messy to eat. So I wouldn’t recommend the nachos, but everything else was great.

New restaurant. They've been open for 3 months. Stopped in for lunch. Had carnitas tacos and rice and beans. First of all, their tortillas are homemade! Absolutely delicious. Makes such a difference. The carnitas were super flavorful. They were really, really good. I added the green salsa and it was delish. The rice was delicious too. I'm a rice snob ( because it's my favorite carb!) they had just made it too. So good. Had it with the beans. They need the business. No grub hub or Uber eats yet. If you're near or in town go try them out.

Walked into LA Catrina expecting your Normal Mexican food. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and it's HUGE! To my surprise it's also not "heavy" like most places, it fills you up without sitting in your stomach like a brick( like most places) the people that run it is very very polite and really care about what they do. All the food is made from scratch and it shows in the taste. If ever in town again I'd come back without a doubt.

Wow! Most pleasantly surprised for breakfast. Food is very good and imaginatively plated. Curled orange slices, grilled zucchini, shaved apple pieces decorating the plates and providing wonderful palette cleansers. Eggs cooked perfectly, potatoes made with peppers and onions, corned beef hash was a modest amount but was enough and very tasty. We were really happy with everything and it's now on our first-choice list. One note: the bagels are a bit puffy, but still good....
