South Miami Park — Attraction in Coral Gables

Great park close to lots of shops and restaurants. My favorite part is that it's fenced in and it has plenty of space to run around, not just playground equipment. There are benches peppered throughout and a few picnic tables towards the entrance. There's a good amount of space to be in either the sun or the shade depending on what you prefer. There's a toddler section, some swings, a big kid section, a work out section, and a field. It's incredibly clean. I didn't see one piece of trash anywhere. There were plenty of people, kids of all ages and it felt very safe. Everyone was very polite, the kids took turns and the moms...

This is the perfect park if you are looking for big open space to throw the ball with your kids or some friends. It is hard to find parks with clear open areas like this.

There are no major roads around the park so it is very family friendly, Located in the middle of the neighborhood it makes it have a very homey feel.

There is also a nice paved pathway all the way around the park making it a good location if you like to walk/jog/run.

The only thing to remember when going here is there are no structured bathrooms, just porta potties so just use the restroom before you head out that way if you are uncomfortable...

This park has a huge potential to become a great park for the neighbors and for all the kids that plays soccer everyday on this park. There should be clean restrooms, a great playground area for small kids with swings, slides, etc. Please South Miami Mayor, do a great labor and a service to the community by installing and making this South Miami park a great park and area for everyone that visits it everyday. This parks needs a lot of improvement!...
