Three Friends Park — Attraction in Coral Springs

If I were on the naming committee, I'd call it Island Hill Park. If truth be told, it's hard to conceive of this hidden gem as a park at all. There's a short paved path to the top of the hill, and that's about it. Still, if you walk to the water's edge and walk around the perimeter, it's a pleasant view. It won't talk you long, maybe 15 minutes. Still, the people there seemed to enjoy the perspective, easily the natural highest point in Coral Springs. This place is wonderful and special, since Florida is mostly flat land, and Three Friends is a little mountain. Lot of space, trees, grass, birds, water, fish...You can spend a whole day just relaxing. I love to take pictures of places like this, and this is definitely one of my favorites. This is more of a path leading up a hill, as opposed to a park. It is always clean and the scenery is gorgeous. This is a great place to watch fireworks because the hill is high enough to see several fireworks all at once, nearly a 360 degree view.
