United Escapes of America - Lake Norman — Attraction in Cornelius

Daisy was absolutely amazing from walking in the door to getting my sons set up, to calling her manager, and her manager is phenomenal too. I royally messed up when booking a room and booked it in another location mind you, another state, AZ! When Daisy saw that I wasn’t on the schedule, she figured out what I had done, and her and her manager were so kind and helpful throughout the whole process. Daisy set the room up promptly although we were technically early since we didn’t sign up in time… and she has gone above and beyond with my sons and I asking if we need anything, ensuring they know how to utilize the locks etc when approaching them. My family booked an escape for the 60 minute pirate room. We did not know what to expect. We arrived by GPS and it looks like the building was undergoing a facelift bc the business names were missing. The building number is on the windows and we read instructions about it being upstairs. So we headed up. Found the suite number and entered. We were greeted by a sweet lady who gave us the run down and had us watch a 3 minute video on the rules. Had never taken our kids to an escape room, but was a great first experience. Did our waivers online so was an easy in and start. We did the pirate room, very cool. We got out in time but barely. They have a glow stick thing for $10 for 10 extra minutes and I was afraid it was going to be a nickel and dime thing where they don’t help you out enough to get out wo paying that extra. I’m happy to say it wasn’t at all the case in our experience. 🙂 We got lots of “nudges” - maybe even a few premature ones but better that than too late - especially w our skin of the teeth time! Would come back here again when in the area if it works out....
