BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!
We were shopping around for trampoline parks to host my 6th year old son’s party. We put a deposit of $100 & was told it was refundable verbally. Our party was going to be for March 16, we put the deposit in around February 27 or 28th, then we canceled exactly the following or 2 days after. We thought this is a reasonable time to cancel considering it’s more than 2 weeks notice before the party and about 24-48hrs after making the deposit. The lady called & said deposit was nonrefundable. My husband said “there’s no where on your website that says that.” He asked her to go on the website with him & walk him through it to state the nonrefundable policy; she said, “i have no time for that”. Ummm…but you have the time to call him to discuss this further about your non refundable deposit…😑😑
So the whole party situation is very bizarre, because you’re only allowed 1hr to use the room, we didn’t think it made any sense thus we looked elsewhere. That 1hr is literally for you to eat, do the whole cake celebration, then you have to leave the room. Strange, right? We didn’t want this because we wanted a 2-3 hours of privacy & for some of the adults like grandparents or other people who may not be able to jump but want to be there to celebrate too. We opted for a different trampoline park.
Anyway, the conclusion was my husband called the credit card company to dispute it & we didn’t have to pay. Mind you, we did try to resolve this issue ourselves. Then unbeknownst to me, he went back to this trampoline park with some of our friends & their kids; he found out he got blacklisted. 😂😂
First of all, after that policy, I wouldn’t want to go back to a dishonest, shady business place. I don’t know why he would even go back. But to him, it’s just business.
So yea…they blacklisted my husband & I’ve already blacklisted them after that whole nonrefundable deposit incident. I have to say “Thank You” to the company for that because i know my husband would have still gone there many times to take our son & his friends because he liked this place better than the one we chose for my son’s Party. He would have wasted money onto this place over & over, an underserving place may I add.
I’m giving you guys 2 stars for this from 1 star. Thank you for blacklisting my husband…im not being sarcastic either…truly from the bottom of my heart…Thank you! People that know my husband know my gratitude isn’t a lie at all. Duplicate post as on my YELP account
May 09, 2024 - Im responding to the staff/owner to their response below: My husband went over the website prior to making a deposit. There was nothing that states it. We’ve had an experience before where the Staff will VERBALLY states one thing but when we go on the website it states something else. To the fact that you’re trying to say that my husband knew the policy & wanting to go over it again with your manager over the phone is completely FALSE. This didn’t happen, when speaking to the manager on the phone, he asked, “please walk me through your website to at shows your cancellation policy”. Her response is “oh, I don’t have time.” Please don’t make any FALSE statements about the review I’ve experienced here or about my husband’s character as I simply state nothing but the truth about it. I am simply FOREWARNING others that decides to book their events; this is very helpful information for people to read as a reminder to always confirm what they’ll be getting into. We didn’t read reviews prior to visiting your place of business and if I read someone’s review about the whole deposit thing, it would have been very helpful for us & this incident wouldn’t have occurred. This isn’t to discourage others of booking their events here, otherwise I would have input that on my title. This review is for others & for you as a business to educate/train your staff on the policy, maybe have it in bold before confirming payment or some where visible on your website & to include it in your flyers. You should take reviews as...
Read moreI would highly suggest going to another trampoline park and not giving this facility your money. I was in town visiting family on 10/2/24 and one particular young man was extremely rude to the kids, he would just tell them NO and not give any reason (your too big, not right now because i'm manning another section etc) those would have been acceptable reasons instead of just NO. I had to go clarify a couple times what his problem was since they were not understanding why they couldn't.
This same young man also spent a lot of time playing basketball and soccer with some other boys that seem to be regulars and not working his area. He got totally annoyed when someone would ask him if they can go on one of the areas he had to control and would show his annoyance.
At one point I noticed a group of young girls that came together wanted to ride the bull, so he opened it up and just as each girl on their turn tried getting on he started it before they even were fully on and didn't even have a hold of the rope in which they flew off right away of course.
Same kid also kept hiding out in the jungle gym area where I'm just gonna take a wild guess the cameras are not able to see him, because every time he was in there he had his phone pulled out using it.
We spoke to the young female manager on duty telling her this same info and she didn't seem to even care, did not even walk over and talk to him after we complained at all. When leaving we asked for his and her name so we could make a formal complaint and she said she wasn't allowed to give it out??
The only positive to our visit was when they played in the areas that the employee Lenny was working- he was nice enough to share his name so i could call out that he was doing a fantastic job and was nice and informative to the kids when they were doing something wrong or...
Read moreBig Air was the only trampoline park I found open during the pandemic. During the day time its not very crowded however a line starts to form outside around 5pm. I highly recommend filling out your waivers ahead of time! You will save time; possibly go to the front of the line if you do. The check-in process is a little hectic. They require non-slip socks which you can bring or buy there for $3. The pizza isn't very good, so I'd eat before you go. The bulk of parent seating is in the food area though. I like that they have a station of disinfecting wipes to use. The (gender separated) bathrooms have multiple stalls, so no waiting. The trampoline areas are in good condition. They offer a decent variety of jumping, climbing and swinging activities. In the evening they have a "cosmic" session which was cool.
They have a play area for smaller children, however the enforcement of that age policy is where my review lost stars. My very timid, calm playing 8 yr old wanted to jump there, but was repeatedly told to leave. Meanwhile, other obviously older children were allowed to jump and act wild. I asked the girl monitoring the area why and she was rude & short with me. I spoke with the manager about the unequal enforcement. She confirmed the rule and said she would immediately make sure only children under 6 yrs were allowed. I continued to observe yet nothing changed, so idk what happened with that?
I'm reluctant to call it discrimination, but the only difference between my child and that employee/other kids happened to be the (light) color of her skin. (Believe me, I TRIED to find some other possible explanation but there just wasn't one). One bad employee doesn't ruin a business, for me at least, so I will go again. Next time I just hope we won't have that same...
