I came here for my husband's birthday for an early dinner based on the menu selection that reminded me of the places we used to love going to when we lived in Chicago. Items such as impossible Tacos and cheese curds in particular.
Service was slow to start even though it didn't seem like they were recently sat and it wasn't particularly full of people. But the server was friendly and once she arrived in the first place, she was very attentive afterwards so I'm wondering if it was a shift change or something.
The cheese curds were alright, the Buffalo cauliflower was good even though they put the sauce on when I asked for it on the side. But it came with the most offensive sauce I've eaten in a while that shouldn't go anywhere near cauliflower.
The tacos were broken up hamburger patties sprinkled with taco seasoning. Surprisingly edible once you get past the dryness. I managed to eat a whole one because I was starving, but couldn't make it past that.
I'm glad we checked it out, but I doubt we'll be back unless their menu gets a bit of a refresh to vegetarian options they can execute a bit better on. In which case I'd love to give it another shot due to the...

Brass Tap is easily one of the best bars around! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, lively, and just the right mix of casual and classy. Whether you’re there for a chill night out, to catch a game, or to enjoy some live music, this place hits the mark every time.
The beer selection is top notch . T ons of local craft options and rotating seasonal taps, so there’s always something new to try. The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. They make great recommendations and are super quick, even when it’s busy.
The food is way better than your average bar food. fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The wings are my go to favorites, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Service is consistently great, and the whole place has a really good energy. It’s clear the staff and management care about making every visit a good one. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, you’ll feel right at home.
Highly recommend checking out Brass Tap. You’ll want to come back...

The Bad: Pretty much everything else. Family of 3 ordering Cod Tacos, Impossible Burger with lettuce wrap, and a Crispy Chicken Sandwich. My meal came out 20 mins prior to the other two. No utensils or napkins provided which I had to ask. The Impossible Burger was super sad with roasted cauliflower for $15.....it was absolutely pathetic. Service wasn't the best. The tip left was for the bartender..... Not from this area and if I was, I would only come back for beer.
To the owners: You really need to work with your staff on timely food delivery as well as customer service. The waitress appeared like she dgaf about anything. Lastly, the food delivery. Look at my attached picture. Would you really go back to a place like this? If the answer is no, you might want to...
