I went there today and was told that its only outside shopping. Are you kidding me?!? Its over 90* outside and there is no shade! I got stopped at the doors so I saw inside. Over half of your stock is inside on the sales floor. I was in a while back and saw some light up Christmas decorations still in the box. The box was kinda moldy and dusty but the original price tag from Wal-Mart was still stuck to the front. Wal-Mart's price brand new was 2.99. Salvation Army price for second-hand was 5.99. How do you mark up a second-hand item. They do this all the time! They mark a price wrong and don't honor it. There was a box full of lps dolls on the checkout counter. It was marked 4 for .99. I asked the lady if that was right and she said it was. I was gonna get four of them. I went and shopped, came up to check out, and the manager told me that it was actually .99 each. I showed her the box marked with the price I was told. She then flips over the flap with the price on it to the back side that wasn't showing and it does say .99 each. She then tells me that I was not the first person to question the price. So she knew there was a sign problem and just chose not to fix it, then didn't honor the...
Read moreI was just in the store. Found some items I really liked and went to pay. One of the items had a yellow tag but no price written on it. They refused to sell me the item, even though it was on the sales floor and it was their mistake there was no price written on it. Instead of offering to take it to the back and get a price, they flat out refused to sell it and kept telling me they understood it was their mistake but they couldn’t sell something without a price. I left without any of my items and even though I have been a regular customer at this store, I don’t believe I’ll be back to this store. Management was rude and customer service was awful.
I have never run into this issue/policy. If this is store policy, please make sure you are training ALL your staff to do this. My sister and I had literally just gone to the store in Bellevue and one of her items didn’t have a tag at all - they still rang it up and sold it to her. This store is for a charitable cause and I would have waited for pricing. I like the work that Salvation Army does. But store management just turned away a paying customer because they were unwilling to remedy their...
Read moreThe store is much nicer since they remodled, most staff are friendly. Good priceS on some items. One thing that makes me upset is that if you try to purchase an item and the tag falls off and is missing, they wont sell you an item. Had this problem just recently... Found a brand new pair of Asics in perfect condition. Tag said 7.99 which is awesome. Got to the counter and the tag was lost somewhere. I asked to speak with the manager about the situation and even expkained I was shirt on cash and they would be new shoes for my daughter for this school year. She could of cared less and would not just place another tag on the item so I could purchase it. I said this is the salvation army, you help those in need... But not today. I'm never going back there. Their bathrooms are gross and you do jave to look at your items befor. Uying. Found a lot of clothes with holes or stains, who would buy that? The parking lot needs to be...
